At current rate of spending, about 11 more weeks of buybacks before the US50mn used up - so early January.

(Buybacks started on 19th August - about a third used by the start of this week.)

Rumour has it that the PLUS share price has moved up from around 500p to 770p over the past 6 months and that there has been no change in shorts over 0.5% published since 25 September.

Thinking we are all a little surprised in the way Plus has performed of late considering positive updates by competitors and the large buyback continuing Holding and hoping for a good update.

Now about a third of the way through the US$50mn available for the current share buyback. Highest price paid to date was last Friday - 784.2p.



sp was around 715p when the current share buyback started on August 23rd.

Following positive trading updates in The Sector ours is also likely to be very positive later this month & with the continuing buy backs (which at the current levels could last until Xmas)I would expect our share price to continue its recovery & wonder at what point will the shorting hedge funds take their profits (or losses),resulting in a strengthening of the momentum behind our SP
