13/8/2019 17:04 | Problem with IGG is it is too darn expensive. This is cheap should be £10. | zccax77
13/8/2019 16:26 | Will be interesting to see if the buybacks have started today..hopefully not and they initiate tomorrow to add fuel into this momentum | markbelluk
13/8/2019 16:13 | Appears I was a bit out of touch with how Plus was going on, pleased at the turn around for you guys, hope IGG can equal your performance. | gbh2
13/8/2019 16:05 | There goes 7 - hope it holds | hatfullofsky
13/8/2019 14:10 | I get a nice warm feeling when I go to shortracker and see a 6.31% short. Hope they burn. | zccax77
13/8/2019 14:07 | If this gets to £12 I am out. I can see it getting there by year end. Come on vix | zccax77

13/8/2019 13:16 | Agreed djokovic1 & volatility set to remain over the coming months with view to global instability, apart from European Brexit instability- so scope for us to exceed expectations over the remainder of the year. | base7
13/8/2019 12:54 | @djokovic1 - yes, I agree. Despite the volatility of the share, this is a buy and hold for me (would have been easy to take a quick profit today, but increased market vol and valuation are compelling reasons to hold). | mnomis
13/8/2019 12:10 | I know and the other clown sunny beach boy. Who ramped this sold into the rise and disappeared. | zccax77
13/8/2019 11:55 | Its a great thing to not have him around, nice to have a clean board without useless chatter | djokovic1
13/8/2019 11:51 | How comes we never hear from our friend el capital anymore? | zccax77
13/8/2019 11:41 | Did a bit of quick analysis on the share buyback. They will be buying back roughly 5% of average daily volume each day assuming they buy evenly from now to end of buy back program in Mar 2020 if they buyback the full $50m. So should see some positive momentum from that. Also given lower marketing spend, AUAC sub $800 in Q2, and increased volatility they should hit consensus (of course higher or lower depends on how volatility continues to play out). But assuming they hit cons, trading at 6x FY 19E and 4x FY19E ex-cash. | djokovic1
13/8/2019 11:05 | Watch the momentum of the buying pressure, as short closes and the buybacks start, on top of a decent update.... | markbelluk
13/8/2019 10:01 | How is that short working out for you Bullet Ant? | mnomis
13/8/2019 09:48 | Agreed chucking, I expect CMCX to be out of business. The ceo there sounds like he should be back in the 1990’s very uninspiring. | zccax77
13/8/2019 09:39 | Still they are regulated to publish that 74.6% of customers lose money. That’s a lower number than of a year or so ago, consistent with on average higher losses (from the point of view of Plus) from customer trading. But as Odey argues, it’s completely awash. Clients winning means that in the long run, they will recycle their winnings and, although with some lag, Plus gains from increased volume. There needs to be a fertile market for that to happen, though and this has been missing in H1. Its getting a little bouncy now, though, so that augers well. More long term, this is playing out as Odey had thought it might. Regulation followed by contraction followed by little guys going out of business. This shows as Odey gains customers with lower marketing spend per customer gained. Now need some volatility to induce the new clients to trade, but we have started to see this. | chucko1
13/8/2019 09:19 | We all engage in trading activities because we hope to make money plus should shout it out on the roof tops that their clients unlike other companies make money | josh 32
13/8/2019 09:15 | Its healthy that customers of plus are making money because more money they make the more the turnover will increase ratio of winners to losers is very healthy | josh 32
13/8/2019 09:12 | wizardry in how they show their numbers...completely untrustworthy | gutterhead
13/8/2019 09:04 | "Active Customers(7) numbers in Q2 2019 were 11% ahead of Q1 2019 (Q1 2019: 97,921)" So why can't they just say 108,692 ? But active customers in Half 1 were "141,692 Active Customers in H1 2019 (H2 2018: 142,804)" So that means that 141,692-108,692 = 32,999 (basically a round number) 33,000 were missing in quarter 2. A coincidence that both those numbers would end in 692 exactly ? Or just someone approximating ? If they got 47,540 new customers in the first half and do lose those missing 33,000 in a quarter, they could be losing customers quicker than gaining them...... | fenners66
13/8/2019 08:55 | Half 1 headline revenues Revenues $148.0m But that included "Revenue from customer spreads and overnight charges ("customer income") totalled approximately $175 million" So we can deduce that their customers took them for $27m. We guessed that would happen as cryptos rose. Calculating the Half 2 2018 that number was a profit instead of $62m so a whole lot depends upon client trading results and now they are saying more of their client base is experienced ..... | fenners66
13/8/2019 08:51 | whats the extra australian regulations threat headline. Is that much to be concerned about ? | 18steven
13/8/2019 08:35 | lets hope they have got their numbers right this time.... | gutterhead |
