Interesting James - I usually find croquettes a bit disappointing but I am prepared to give the oxtail ones with mustard sauce a go followed by grouper with lime and seaweed risotto - but wtf are they thinking ‘grilled prawns with mashed potato’?
I will let that lot settle before choosing desert. I’ll take the canapé while I’m waiting.

Todays trip.

Cable car upto the little town of monte1 was enjoyable. The secondary cable car to the Biological gardens was a complete waste of time. An hour wasted looking at nothing better than your standard park flower beds and borders out of season and nowhere upto most stately homes. Back to monte1 where they set off in those Whicker baskets down the narrow streets. Alright I suppose, but a bit of a wasted day, although the call was made last minute as it was quite windy this morning.

Off to the hotel bar to start on the bloody Mary’s shortly before heading out to dinner.
