I was actually aware of that, you may be surprised to note, gra'.

Odd how some people seem not to notice how relatively early it gets dark on 25th December, don't you think?

Good old Jim would have loved to have announced this was being played!

Looking up lighting up times just now, I discovered there are three different twilights: astronomical twilight, nautical twilight and civil twilight.

James:

Not that I want to put the mockers on things but I meant to mention that I recall that you had a major barthroom problem when you returned from a relatively recent holiday (note to fellow retirees: James is able to have a holiday).

Im not sure what the judge has 'made up' but what is being alleged is mortgage fraud by artifically inflating asset values to gain preferential rates and amounts. The lending banks arent litigating & the loans were redeemed without default. So its the NJState that is litigating & theres no equivalence here unless its a company in administration with malfeasance like bounce back fraud. So yes, political.

#9950 But then WE don't have Law that a politically appointed judge can make up as he goes along. Theoretically, everyone in America can use the Law to punish or impoverish someone they don't like, and have myriad ways of doing so. Eventually, the voting population are going to decide Law is not fair or equitable and ignore it (as most have already done).

I was following the Trump trial histrionics with him calling the judge a fraudster, waffling on ad infinitum to avoid answering the (yes/no) questions & making it up as he went along (busy in the white house in '21 etc). Amazed their courts are so lax, if I'd tried that on a few years back in the high court I'd still be in the tower. They evidently have no contempt of court/proceedings rules over the pond.

Terrified cruise passenger feared she would die in storm – so she turned on Strictly

Personally I'd have gone for the life jacket option & a lie down with a bottle of finest scotch

Sorry to hear about your dining experience, James. Albarino is one of those generic grape wines - like Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc etc etc - where it all comes down to the maker. Some are complete p*ss but a good maker can turn them into pure gold.
