I wonder how much of it is down to the police giving up on property crime. We know they can't be bothered with burglaries - does that apply to car thefts also? If so, the insurance companies should tell us, should shout it from the rooftops.

The other possibility is that the disproportionate costs of electrical vehicles are being spread around. If so, that amounts to fraud imv.

Homemade chicken and vegetable soap, a banana, satsuma and plum. Possibly to be followed by some more substantial chasers yet to be acquired.

Jolly good Mikey - although not entirely sure that you will notice any difference after the first day. What did you upgrade from ?

Hee hee

True story this: the smell when entering the woodwork/metalwork room made me feel sick. This led to me not attending school most Mondays, for the first three years, in order to avoid it.

I should point out that Mrs A wouldn't let me anywhere near a cooker. She knows very well that I'm not 'wired' to do practical things.

You had a leg of lamb in 1945, from a spiv or just an avid saver of coupons?

But I thought that all policies were specific to the vehicles concerned not to mention the variables pertaining to drivers, geography and nature of use - hence the insurance providers requiring very detailed information surrounding these aspects at time of purchase?

#9738 - aside from your normal paint / part costs, bodily injury costs (driven partly by fraudulent Hamiltons), costs incurred by un-insured Hamiltons, the increased incidence of write-offs of EVs if you happen to kiss their bumper.

monte1:

There is a small matter that has been playing on my mind for the past few days:

You suggested that the wife cooking a leg of lamb was reminiscent of 1945.

Was it

a. the wife cooking,

b. the leg of lamb,

c. both that led you to form that opinion?
