Usual silly ill informed article without any research. Presumably any company that raises prices are automatically greedy including car manufacturers themselves? Insurance prices react to claims and if you bothered to enquire, claim payments are outstripping premiums due to OTHER prices going up. So Mike instead of jumping on the bandwagon of blaming nasty insurers please contact the ABI and other bodies to find out the facts first.

fireplace22,

I must declare that I should like to see Fuel Duty increase by a factor of 10 to keep ends off the roads. Not that I go out in my car very often, of course.

Just following the narrative to get cars off the road, if you can't wreck enough - speed bumps, potholes, you can out price 'em EV's, ULEZ, Insurance, parking, clamping more to come.

#9712, 9718 even Homer nods.

Hitchens's view on this is outlandish. It is also lacking in logic. Just because some people are able to overcome addiction, it does not follow that addiction does not exist.

At 9.15 tonight, on Channel Four, ‘Banged Up’ continues, still
largely without my good self. I am assured that I feature in episodes three and four.

#9709,

If you ever get up to the despised Smoke, James, Cafe Lisboa on the Golborne Road in West London is renowned for them. I can confirm that they are absolutely delicious.

Excellent reporting (not that I understand any of the wine stuff, of course), James. Thank you.

Damn! The guide said the cork needs changing every 20 years ideally and that if you take it to them they will change it for nothing.
