03/12/2012 09:49 | A concern: | clocktower
21/11/2012 16:58 | Completely agree battlebus but dont like saying it incase it sounds too rampy. ;-) That presentation with ARM recently was an extremely interesting development in my view as i wouldnt have thought ARM would have asked any old co along if they didnt think there might be chance of future commercial prospects. | cfro
21/11/2012 09:50 | As saucepan said the chart has seen healthy consolidation since October over the 50ma. A breakout over 15p should be significant, now that PSL are profitable on a monthly basis (EPITDA) the next trading update could be interesting. ic2... | interceptor2
21/11/2012 09:19 | With patience 20p + is only a matter of time imv. | battlebus2

19/11/2012 17:01 | A healthy consolidation and the beginning of the next move up? | saucepan
09/11/2012 22:30 | Thanks for that IC2. She really was very impressive but perhaps better without the glasses. ;-)......oh and the video was rather good too. :0)) | cfro
08/11/2012 22:03 | watched the video, impressive but still looks like the development stage at the moment. | ashtree2

08/11/2012 20:05 | Above is a video from last weeks Arm Techcon, featuring the Photonstar stand and a very competent explanation on how Chromalight works. She really is very good and hopefully went down well with the Americans. ic2... | interceptor2
08/11/2012 08:10 | DIA results out this morning and confirmation on how well the LED industry is going. Should bode well for PSL. | cfro
05/11/2012 20:24 | Great statement from DIA this morning re overseas expansion as you point out IC2. With ARM holdings asking PSL to present in America i do feel that this could be a significant development. I am very excited about prospects here. | cfro
05/11/2012 09:33 | Dialight (DIA) announced a contract win this morning, but it was the statement that I found of interest, which seemed very bullish about international opportunities. PSL are for the first time demonstrating their products in America at the invitation of Arm PLC. At present PSL sell only in the UK and Europe and have a market cap of £13.7m vs £361m for DIA. Any orders they win Inernationally could have a significant impact imo. ic2... see below "We believe that this order is just the beginning of what we see as a major growth area for our LED fixtures. We are rapidly expanding our operations and sales forces in regions such as Brazil, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia, among others, to take advantage of the opportunity in the oil & gas market. There are a huge number of drilling rigs around the world with the potential for integrating LED lighting suitable for hazardous locations and Dialight is particularly well-positioned to service that market. We are looking forward to securing more contracts of this nature in the future, for both new and serviced existing rigs, as the industry continues to recognise the considerable value proposition of LED lighting." | interceptor2
02/11/2012 08:22 | Maybe the wrong thread billbyrne. | battlebus2

01/11/2012 13:19 | good post taken from the iii board: | euclid5
31/10/2012 12:13 | For anyone following the Kickstarter LED Bulb project (US) (posted also on iii) The update of 30 October is interesting (Link below). This project has resulted in a lot of interest by manufacturers, retailers and end users. As of today they have pledges of $1.3m which is largely represented by forward orders of the bulbs. 1. All bulbs are now going to incorporate wi-fi chip 2. Appointed production partner - at legals stage 3. Choosing micro-controller between TI and ST 4. Going to China - " in China it takes about 2 weeks to get these first [50] prototypes off the production line" It would be interesting to have the views of PSL or others in the industry. Is this project "for real" and are there any lessons that could benefit PSL? | cliffpeat
30/10/2012 19:34 | Looking at the last full year results all the Group's revenue by destination has been generated from the UK and Europe. So being invited by ARM to demonstrate their products in America could be significant. And PSL have the capacity after the acquisition of Camtronics Vale and the 12,000 sq ft facilty in Wales. ic2... | interceptor2
30/10/2012 16:06 | With ARM holdings eh, thats rather intriguing. :-) | cfro
