Future markets demonstration at ARM TechCon

PhotonStar LED Group plc (AIM: PSL, "PhotonStar" or "the Group"), the British designer and manufacturer of smart LED lighting solutions, has been invited by ARM Holdings PLC to provide a demonstration of LED lighting with embedded microprocessors as part of a future markets showcase at the ARM TechCon in Santa Clara, California, on 30 October 2012.

PhotonStar's ChromaWhite colour tuneable LED technology is one of the first lighting solutions that features an embedded ARM microprocessor. A prototype low energy bluetooth enabled version of ChromaWhite will feature on ARM's stand. It will highlight the future market opportunities for embedded processors in smart lighting.

James Mckenzie, CEO of PhotonStar LED Group PLC, commented;

"We are delighted to have been invited by ARM Holdings to demonstrate our flagship LED technology which is all about smart lighting in a low energy connected world. The event itself will also significantly increase our international profile."

cfro...like all shares if there is a seller waiting to take profit it will have at least a short term affect on the share price,for me it is when to find a suitable entry point.not wishing to be negative as long term this looks an exciting and rewarding investment.cheers ash

Downing are primarily initial stage investors. Once they have a outlet/market for their stock, they always sell out. They are not interested in holding longer term in any company.

So Downing selling is not an issue in my eyes.

Interesting section from the YE Dec 2011 accounts on pg 32:

On 23 December 2010 the Company acquired the entire issued share capital of PhotonStar LED Limited through the issue of 51,023,849 10p ordinary shares in the Company at a fair value of 10p per share. On the same date, holders of share options in PhotonStar LED Limited received in aggregate 10,263,715 replacement options over shares in the Company at an exercise price per share of 2.8 pence.

Pg 38 shows they have until Sept 2013 to exercise these options - June 2011 to September 2013

Downing LLP also sold out of GTC in September in the mid 30s, GTC are now up 49% since then, I guess holders like Downing LLP have to sell when they can. We as small investors have the advantage of being able to move quickly if we need to.

There seems to be 2 possible sellers atm and this is making me cautious about investing yet. Downing have taken profit so I will wait and see.Having said that looks as if the prospects for this one are very good long term.

took a quick profit on these a couple of weeks ago and want to get back in. missed out on 13p on monday when i dithered (unlike ic2!). one thing putting me off was that there were only ever about 5k shares available to sell on monday so i thought the price may have dropped further.

similar is true now - can only sell 5k at 13p. can someone please explain to the uninitiated (ie me) whether this is just MM games and that they really want to buy more stock but are just not admitting to it in order to drop the price?
