These are Stunningly cheap. Be silly not to take advantage of this situation. My wife’s isa has taken some.

As safe a 7% as you can get. Almost guaranteed well into the future. And at these levels we should see a good capital return too.

Kory is a Non-Executive Director of SCOR SE (SCR.PA), Pernod Ricard (RI.PA), Phoenix Group Holdings (PHNX.L), SGS SA (SGSN.SW), and the privately-held Bank Gutmann. She is Chair of the Audit Committee of SCOR SE and the Remuneration Committees of Pernod Ricard and Phoenix Group Holdings.

Kory's executive career was in finance with a strong emphasis on capital market and capital and risk management for insurance and banking institutions. She was Managing Director, Head of Insurance Capital Markets for Barclays Capital in London where her team developed ground breaking capital management transactions such as the first private and revolving value-in-force securitizations, and executed M&A, equity, hybrid capital and hedging transactions for major European insurers. Prior to that, she headed the insurance capital markets team at Credit Suisse and the financial institutions debt capital markets team for Lehman Brothers in Germany, Austria and Holland. She started her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and her career in finance in the treasury of Total S.A.

Presumably a stock overhang here for quite a while. I'm sure some of that placed stock will be traded.Mind you at 665p, you're basically paying 640 once you include the next divi, due to go ex in a couple of months. Seemingly cheap, fingers crossed.

I don't think it's anything to be concerned about, just Swiss Re selling down their stake earlier than expected. Has created some short term pressure on share price, but can't see there being any long term impact.
