24/6/2021 12:32 | Added as many as my ISA can afford. Patience required now. | alter ego
24/6/2021 12:31 | Also taken a wedge here for the yield. | tole
24/6/2021 11:30 | Topped up at 669p.Good growth and a nice 7.2% yield atm. | garycook
24/6/2021 11:16 | Welcome back RCT. I remember you well from the old CLLN thread, lets hope the investment Gods are smiling on us with PHNX. wllm :) | wllmherk
24/6/2021 10:02 | I have bought for the 1st time, with income in mind. Switched from Glaxo after their divi reduction announced yesterday | prokartace
24/6/2021 09:23 | I'm back in today after a long absence. Good luck everyone. | rcturner2
23/6/2021 20:53 | I don't think it's anything to be concerned about, just Swiss Re selling down their stake earlier than expected. Has created some short term pressure on share price, but can't see there being any long term impact. | riverman77
23/6/2021 17:35 | Can anyone please explain the latest RNS as I have no idea what it means or what impact it may have. | davetedjack
23/6/2021 15:52 | Sold 12.5% of why long term holding in LLOY this morning and used the proceeds to buy PHNX at 6.76, to pretty much double my long term holding in PHNX. I don't plan to add further, but currently plan to retain this enlarged stake as a very long term hold for dividend income. Best wishes, NSB | north sea boy
23/6/2021 14:17 | @riverman, that is what I believe too, though no numbers to hand. Good post. | edmundshaw
23/6/2021 12:43 | Never look a gift horse in the mouth….. | marcela9
23/6/2021 12:13 | Boonkoh - rising rates normally good for life insurers as reduces the future value of liabilities. There is a slide in the Phoenix presentation showing sensitivities - I checked this and a 73bps rate rise would have a 6% positive impact on Solvency ratio (increasing from 164% to 170%), increasing surplus by 0.1bn. So rising rates more positive if anything and I don't think a reason for any weakness here, which seems to be largely technical. | riverman77
23/6/2021 11:58 | A problem for the technical investors will be the multiple H&S pattern formations. Each suggests a lower price if further support is broken. I hold PHNX. | ptolemy
23/6/2021 11:57 | PHNX is seeing weakness. Swiss RE stake needing to be sold at a discount, as well as market expectations for interest rates to rise quicker than expected. Interest rate rises will impact PBT.One expects Swiss RE to maybe sell their remainder of stake once lockup expires, so that will be another overhang for the next few months.Overall, I can see this drifting to 600-640p range. | boonkoh
23/6/2021 11:23 | Outside of some high risk stuff PHNX, MNG and Total are my largest holdings. All for the dividend yield but going by PEs there is potential for capital growth also. I am surprised to see PHNX hitting 660s today regardless. Its well overdone from 740s just a few weeks ago. | rogerramjett
23/6/2021 11:12 | Added to my holding in PHNX, now my largest overtaking DLG. PHNX has been kind to me in the past so keeping my fingers crossed. wllm :) | wllmherk
23/6/2021 10:21 | I bet you are, my avg on Whr is 1.16 so not too bad, mine you I am underwater now on this. | nerja
23/6/2021 10:18 | Bought at a pound in 2013 and added at 82p last March - so quite happy with BBOX. | skinny
23/6/2021 10:14 | Skinny, don’t like to talk about Bbox, one of my eff ups selling too early, into WHR instead though | nerja
23/6/2021 10:06 | nerja - it was tongue in cheek - still my biggest holding by value (held since 2014) - but second place BBOX gaining ..... | skinny
23/6/2021 09:59 | Skinny, if your question is for me, my opinion only, but the large increase in volume on Friday suggests to me at least that somebody traded the placement info before it was out . | nerja
23/6/2021 09:49 | Bit late to the party this morning. Bloody work. Paid between 675 and 678 for a few. Highly envious of others here who picked then up in the 660s. Oh well. | stun12
23/6/2021 09:49 | I agree a bit more transparency would have been useful but if you're in for the long game frankly who cares? | pander45
23/6/2021 09:42 | What ARE you suggesting...... | skinny |
