Online payments business Skrill (formerly Moneybookers) recently enabled Bitcoin deposits for at least some of its users. The London-based PayPal alternative, which is a subsidiary of Paysafe Group, has not talked about their Bitcoin integration much at all, and requests for comments on the subject were not returned.

Bitcoin deposits are not available in the United States, and a full list of countries where this deposit method is possible has not been made public. Having said that, Umati Blockchain Ltd. CEO Michael Kimani confirmed to CoinJournal that the option is available in his account in Kenya. CoinJournal reached out to Kimani to get more details on how bitcoin is filling the gaps between different payment systems in Kenya.

Skrill Deposits Bitcoin

Is Skrill Popular in Kenya?

PayPal is the most popular online wallet in Kenya by far, with Skrill in competition for second place with Neteller (also owned by Paysafe Group). According to Google Trends data, Bitcoin is at least just as popular as Skrill in terms of general interest.

boadicea I think you could be right. I was thinking that if I was short I would want to buy some before close today. I am looking for a last minute surge. like everyone else who is long here.

Technically the cancellation is probably rather irrelevant as it is quite easy to issue new shares (e.g. by a simple authority resolution at agm). The importance lies in the message it gives.
Who is selling is also immaterial - the art is to buy when it produces most effect and this morning in a thin market is a likely candidate.

Hi John how goes it?
Good post 5664, I agree they are buying and cancelling those sold, surely if an institution sells then Pays wil counteract and buy/cancel those also.

Perhaps a nice upward trust before close of play, 12.30 isn't it? a 360p plus would be good.

The buyback is up to £100m worth regardless of how many shares they manage to purchase and at what price. They are buying in the market those shares being sold by others and cancelling them. I.e. gone no longer available. Like someone mentioned, the price could stay down because some institution has decided to use the buyback as a chance to offload some.

If they did give a divi then all the shorters would have to pay up.
A 10p divi would mean that anybody with 30m shares short would have to pay £3M .
Soon close out then !!!!
