They are available from the FCA website, here:https://www.fca.org.uk/publication/data/short-positions-daily-update.xlsThe spreadsheet is updated daily. Notifications of changes should be with them by 3.30pm on the trading day following the change. The updated file typically seems to be available to view by 4.30 - 5pm on the day.

thanks all re above, so short position 4 days ago, so with buy-back, would expect this to be lower unless they know something else......but with TU due in a few weeks, why take that risk, am in for ride and fully expecting more of a re-rate, DYOR and gla

Shorters are now completely impotent. They no longer control the share price- the company does. Not a question of how much they can make but how much money they will lose. They can tell as many lies as they like - the company will simply buy the shares and call their bluff. They've lost the game of poker.
PAYs can deliver the 'coup de grace' with their TU update on the 12 Jan -which could well be a 'ahead of market expectations'statement.I am so looking forward to it!

No need for cynicism ACQUISITION AND BUYBACK FIREPOWER: £100m leaves over $1.1bn firepower.Paysafe have said they can borrow 2.5x proforma ebitda i.e. $293m x 2.5 x 2 (if target same size ebitda potential as Paysafe) - $150m debt outstanding at April 2017 = $1.3bn acquisition or higher if there were a rights and or some shares involved too.

That was my rather cynical view. Any takeover they were considering is shelved now... Unless for cash?

So can we expect the shares to be re-issued as part of a rights dilution following the announcement of an acquisition...or am I being syncial?

as of what date please?

Year's high was near £4.60 so 27% above closing price....TU due in early Jan, should hopefully provide more clarity (on the upside one hopes given current noises - DYOR) and next few months may also see more M&A activity....let's see, either way, not sure why OAM would increase short albeit marginally given this sort of momentum the other way!! IMO and DYOR

They both did that last Friday, Oxford must be delighted by today's news.

So looking at the shorts report, PEPM has reduced from 2.12% to 2.0% but Oxford AM has increased from 0.5% to 0.6%

Looks like management have had enough of this nonsense now, so how about the icing on the Xmas cake now with a NASDAQ listing. Then the squeeze will really hurt!

What do they mean by a phased approach? 4m shares a month? and what remit has BMO been given? to buy up to a certain price and no more?
johnv

£100m only buys 7% post agm they will buy the remaining 3%, but all on a buy bot algorithm to maximise in favour of shareholder return i.e. Drip purchases as required using a bot.Ps very good cover in ft markets live this morning

I read it as saying 48m shares to buy over the next 12 months but another approval at the next AGM in may 17 for the remaining part of the 48m shares we haven not purchased by then.
