The interim and final dividends are split into two instalments with their own xd and payment dates.
This years final was different because of the delay in producing the final accounts due to technical issues regarding the accounting treatment of the balance sheet of the Appreciate Group. This meant that the final dividend went xd in its entirety but was paid in the two instalments in September - the normal is July and September.

All dates etc are clearly shown on the companys' website.

HL show dividends paid every year for last 4 years. Year ended 3/23 paid a final and three interims, totalling 37p. 3/22 paid 4 interims totalling 35p. Same in 3/22 total 32.2. Years ended 3/20 and 3/19 look strange with lots of interims and specials.

As new shareholder pattern does seem unusual. But not once a year. From Stockopedia there were previous payments in September 2022, December 2022, February 2023 and then August 2023. Some of the payments are labelled in Stocko as Extra, some Interim and some Final

Does this only pay dividends once a year? Went ex div in August. I've reviewed payment history and seems nothing else due to similar time next year, unless something exceptional is done again. Is that other people's understanding?

Liberum-
PayPoint is differentiated by its position on the high street, where physical cash meets digital, and where physical services are provided like PayPoint One, Click and Collect, and vouchers. The network, the client relationships and the ability to offer a one-stop shop solution for payments makes PayPoint unique in the crowded payment space. Our DCF model generates a target price of 1,100p. A CY 24 P/E of 7.8x is attractive given the cash generation and growth opportunities, and the company offers a CY 24 ordinary 7.5% dividend yield.

There are books written on it. But a simple system built on it at hxxps://www.ichimokutrader.com/ which I find useful.

Don't know what will be the catalyst for the next move upwards, PAY have already hinted that the next trading update on 23rd Nov will be good so maybe that will push share price up towards 600...

Asteriscos Patrimonial upping their stake to almost 30% to secure income from dividends ( not likely any T/O)

There's more churn in the world of auditing now with some auditors really ramping up their prices. Given that this happened as part of the AGM, it would have been planned in advance. It would have been concerning if there was no auditor.

The issue is that the accounts are hard to understand and this is not helped by the acquisition of Appreciate, whose numbers were really difficult to decipher. I inherited these shares as part of the Appreciate deal and decided to hold onto them because (i) it was likely that some Appreciate investors would offload and depress the share price and (ii)Paypoint should be able to do much more with Appreciate business than the previous management team. It's also got some very strong positions in some of its payment markets.

Don't forget that Pay will be sitting on huge amounts of customer cash earning 5% pa.
