Todays trading volume @ 73,340, on ADVFN, is below the median 87,191 since 1st July 2022 which is disappointing.

Hopefully we may see more volume in the days in the rest of this month

No flip flops - now a firmed announcement date is given with 2 scheduled dividend payments plus no ‘banana skin’ as per previous guidance . Just had to go back and buy - just a No brainer to make a autumn holiday money not summer holiday in Europe as whole a Southern Europe is no go unless you like Sahara Desert Hear 😊

Patience needed. It's likely that the auditors are having to catch-up auditing the Appreciate acquisition accounting and also needing to audit the balance sheet at the date of acquisition and the year-end. This is always a bit of pain, and auditors are getting slower and slower! I don't see it as anything sinister at all just poor auditor management.

You'd think there is only one universal type of mathematics. You'd also think that the auditor would have the last word. Really, nobody cares what notional value is placed on whatever they bought or have, we only care about the latest performance as against the previous year and the outlook for the following year, with an eye on debt and divi

Audited Accounts

Next week is four months from the end of the financial year. That is the peiord that the FCA expect audited results to be produced, FCA have extended period to aix montha or end of September. We are three weeks late from announced date. How much longer do we expect before the results are out ???

I reckon we'll get an rns telling us they got sold a pup at 4.30pm lol. The regulations should be changed to require an audit for companies looking to be sold. Still, they likely bought it to enhance their main business.

Currently, as I see it, PAY are worth more than 450 just on their own. There is currently no value in the shareprice attributable to the purchase of Appreciate Group. We know from previous RNS that the business is doing well and generating large amounts of cash. The current outstanding litigation is minor as they have already settled with the FCA over it for about £12/13m and changed their contracts. The longer things are delayed the more people become suspicious and query if this delay is more than just a "simple accounting error". You can see from Darktrace how alleged accounting malpractice can destroy the shareprice. If there is a problem, depending on how bad it is, the share price will tank.....

I was expecting to go ex-div tomorrow, I suppose that if they announce a delay for ex-div tomorrow for a week, it may help pump the share price

Bad news was not price in yet as Pay preliminary update result excluding Appreciate was brilliant as all 3 divisions. We’re showing good growth and profit . However , this long delay result including Appreciate should be out ( as Paypoint management said was technical accounting ) Technical accounting should not have delayed 2 weeks since the announcement . Not good at all - next week if no result or announcement of result date will see an exodus of shareholders . ALL THE BEST FOLKS
