12/10/2021 12:30 | To be fair I have always had my £5 target for exit ..so I personally would take that... anything above would be amazing. | sirmark
12/10/2021 12:28 | sirmark, I think you made a typo. Surely step 15. should state: Final offer £8.00 Its easy to get a 5 and an 8 wrong ;) | ngms27

12/10/2021 11:49 | I have made a stab at predicting the likely news flow over the next few months. The weather on the North Slope will play a large part in the starting date, also may affect the timing of de-mob. Have assumed 2 tests at Theta West. Allowed 2 weeks / test. 1. Share placing or farmout, winter program. Now - Mid Nov 2. Contracts for drilling and test rigs. Shortly after (1) 3. Commence building Ice Road to Talitha & Theta West. End December 4. Mobilising test rig to Talitha, begin testing ops. Mid Jan 5. Mobilising rig to Theta West, spudding. 3rd week in Jan 6. Flow test results, Talitha, LBFF End Jan 7. Flow test results, Talitha SMD, De-mob. Late Mar 12. Flow test results, Theta UBFF, De-mob. End Mar 13. Begin ops Alkaid SMD April - May Enough that WHI should need to buy a box of pre-sharpened pencils. Any additions or counter views? | unlikely2
12/10/2021 11:42 | I would sell at 150p today or in the next 2 months gladly. As the news changes so will my ball park re overvaluation or under valuation at any point in time. Wurzel Gummidge | ngms27
12/10/2021 11:27 | Forgive NGMS ...he is the scarecrow in the field... missing the direction of his own fart ... forgetting his nonsense and remember..he said he would sell off at 150p😳㊂ | inteligentia8
12/10/2021 11:16 | Well I remember an experienced oil veteran pointing out ~50% of flow tests are successful (relating to exploration and appraisal). Therefore given the good data set we have and that these zones have been penetrated multiple times, I am happy to interpret the 60-70% as COS across all zones and not COS in one zone.Theta West now has two penetrations, SMD has 5. If I understand correctly Alkaid's flow test relates to the SFS and I believe it's porosity was at the lower end compared to the other zones. Post this winter/spring activities we will have had 7 well penetrations and 8 flow tests (1 extended) carried out. On success the project will be significantly derisked and we can start entertaining the Oil Search valuations which Jay has already alluded to. Particularly if we are considering the primary recovery numbers which are on the conservative side.A lot to look forward to and still excellent risk/reward at these prices. | rabito79
12/10/2021 11:13 | Does your wife not manage her own SIPP? | chris0805
12/10/2021 10:30 | Rabito, agreed we could see 200p plus this winter. I do agreed with the 70% figure stated by Bob but it does depend on how you judge the contect on that comment. i.e. Single zone or all zones etc. | ngms27
12/10/2021 10:29 | Ngms, you were in agreement with the 60-70% COS mentioned by Bob. Now the Broker notes 20% COS is blue sky thinking. At least be consistent. For me I am more reluctant to use the Higher NPVs that WHI quote. Therefore whilst I think their risked figures are fudged to the low side I can understand their thinking. Either way still plenty of room to run ahead of this winter's activities. | rabito79
12/10/2021 10:27 | InToTheWild, I didn't sell loads of my shares prior to the rise. I sold 5% of my total holding which is now enjoying a nice ride on TXP. In fact I could argue I didn't sell any as they were actually in the wife's SIPP ;) | ngms27
12/10/2021 10:11 | johnswan193 17937 If you pay attention to the specific wording from the webinar, transcribed below. The question was "or commercialising these FIELDS", answered with the 60 to 70 % If the question was plural, the answer can also be taken as applying to plural, rather than an amalgamated probability of one success Answer, Bob : So we have, eliminated the exploration risk, we have found hydrocarbons, and we are well beyond the exploration stage. Question to Bob, What does that mean, in terms of, both risk of the project, but also confidence, or probability of success, if you like in terms of developing, or commercialising these fields ? Answer, Bob : Well again it is, you know, we are at a much lower risk profile, than we were two years ago, and even, where we were from the fall, so we are at 60 70% confidence of success. | olderwiser2
12/10/2021 09:46 | I see a couple of the negative pedantic types have just had a little pillow talk this morning . Share price is up over 40 percent in the last month , with numerous positives within the near term that will confirm the action plan for winter testing. | winner66
12/10/2021 09:40 | Very conservative assumptions used by WHI for RFs and CoS. And only three out of six resources given values. | responsible investor
12/10/2021 09:39 | Tut, tut, tut, Scot. Comparing Bob's 60-70% COS to the 25%, 20% and 20% used by WH Ireland? Fact check! Fact check! Bob's 60-70% COS was an answer to a question of commerciality. He did not say it with regards to a specific zone. So until he or somebody else at Pantheon comes out and says otherwise the 60-70% number is not very different to the numbers used by WH Ireland, assuming any one of the three succeeding results in commercial success. | johnswan193
12/10/2021 09:38 | The real Elephant in the room is that they have proven zero resource at Talitha to date. Brokers valuations are always stupid, always blue sky and not worth the paper they are written on (apart form Hiddendepths ;)) | ngms27 |
