Forwood, do you think that would be the case if a farminee/farminees was announced? My personal view is that external validation would more than offset any ‘dilution̵7;.

It sounds to me like you don’t believe the share price is likely to rise at all from here until testing. Which is why I’m interested to know what the charts suggest on the upside, as you appear to have discounted any insight from them (if there is any) in that direction.

Cheers.

forwood

The big differences this time are that we have Talitha sitting there safely drilled and ready for testing plus the results of all the in house technical analysis of last winer's drilling campaign including the Baker Hughes and VAS assessments as reported in the two webinars this year.

I'm French Canadian/Greek, my family on my Mums side come from Quebec and my Dads side Athens. My first language is French, my second Greek. I speak better Russian than English.

scot - I ask you, what happened when the fund raising exercise was announced last time, when we were all looking forward to the winter programme? And what did the share price do for a few days before that announcement?

In case your memory is challenged, from early Sept last year to 9 October the share price rose from around 22p to touch 46p. It then fell consistently to late October to bob around 28-32p around for 2 weeks until going back up to almost 40p and then falling steadily back to close at c. 34 on the 19th Nov, the day the fund raising news was released after the close. Next day it fell to 32 and stayed around there until the 26th, after which there was a steady rise back up to 40 at the end of the month. It then bobbed around 36 and 40 until January, when another rise took it back to 45 by mid Jan. It then fell again down to 33 and did that until the results when we had the big fall. It never got above that level of 46 except for one day, mid April it touched 46.60. So effectively there wasn't a better price from 9 October to after news was released.

What's happening now seems eerily similar. I put it to you (M'lud), that your assertion that things will be different this time is optimistic and not in accord with previous experience.

might finish positive and ready for the 90/100 ... I was hoping to finish the week on a pound which may be a push now and might have to wait till next week although I'm not ruling it totally out, but the 90's still very much inplay IMO.

Sure they have Alkaid, I'll throw that in. The Kuparuk did return some oil but not in commercial quantities. Even if it had the statement of Billions of Barrels still doesn't hold true.

They need Theta West to work for Billions of Barrels and to date it's had oil shows on drilling and looks good on log but hasn't been tested.

Put in context I've seen several discoveries announced after shows on drilling and logs looking good only to fail on testing.

Sure the signs are good but until the oil flows it's just potential.

I understood that oil had indeed flowed during this years testing albeit very limited due to unexpected difficulties. We have additionally been advised oil flowed at Alkaid. If you are right ngms27 then the companies management and their advisers have misled us. I choose not to believe that and of course everyone must make up their own minds.

Disagree profoundly. They have found nothing until tested, just an indication of what might be.

Context dear boy, context.

Alaska 'ANS West Coast' price per barrel on 5/10/21 was $82.91. Once again, this was a small premium to Brent.

Wrong again, ngms27.

You were, I understand, replying to sirmark's "....but rightly so we have found billions of barrels of oil......"

PANR has indeed discovered, or "found" if you will, billions and billions of barrels of oil. That is an uncontestable fact. That you elect to do your normal obfuscation is standard form for you, intellectually flawed and rather boring.

Whatever happens in the subsequent flow tests and appraisal wells, the oil *is* present, and in massive quantities. This is now an empirical fact. That you choose not to employ the industry standard risked/unrisked valuation model is your right and entirely your concern. That other investors, including me, elect to employ the risked/unrisked model is our concern and is certainly a legitimate subject of conversation and debate in a forum such as this one.

Context, old man, context.

Sorry Scott, they only potentially have Billions of Barrels of oil IF it flows in commercial volumes and appraisals confirm the extent of the fields.

Until then they have nothing, put another way didly squat.

Context dear boy, context.

ngms27, post #17788 - Wrong, PANR has indeed found billions of barrels of oil. Fact. The company won't know for sure *the degree of commerciality* of the contingent resource and wider TRR without further testing and appraisal wells. You're welcome.

Luckily for us PANR shareholders, management decided to retain Baker Hughes AHS to undertake VAS analysis at Talitha-A, see weblink below. I encourage all those interested in PANR to read the executive summary by Mike Smith, the inventor of the VAS technique. Please note especially his comments about the scale to which the data is pointing and the likelihood of the mobility of the light oil. On a risk-adjusted basis using historically accepted equity valuation modelling, PANR is incredibly cheap, today, right now.

Prof Sir forwood - I thought I'd join you in posting a stupid comment too. I offer to the thread the probability, IMHO, that as soon as the anticipated winter programme is secured *by whichever method of funding* the market will be absolutely delighted to read such news. Not only that, rather than the share price moving down I contend that it will move up, and move up rather sharply as the market looks forward to the winter programme and starts to price the upside/downside risk of the range of outcomes from the Theta West crest drill (especially) and from the flow test at Talitha-A.

very true, but rightly so we have found billions of barrels of oil and oil is now $80 so our assets become a extremely desirable !
