The bottom is now firmly in and a clear marker in the sand established. Never have I ever encountered a share price to sink lower than the fundraising price and I do not expect to see it imminently or even in the near future

Notice how the share price is solidly above the offer price. Looks like Mangrove are dialling down on the stupidity. The same cannot be said for the bashers.

I did say that 17p was the line in the sand which will not be breached, imminently or soon. Oh how they all laughed. Well who's laughing now eh?

Helpfull is very worried:

"The Company intends to implement a revised long-term incentive plan (LTIP), replacing the old reserves based and option plans, that include both options and restricted stock units (RSUs). The initial grant is expected to represent approximately 2% of the current issued share capital and is expected to be made as soon as practicable after completion of the Fundraising. The revised LTIP will have an overall limit of 10% of the issued share capital"

The mug punter doesn't see the LTIP as even more share dilution.

2%-10%?

What does that come to at £200 million market capitalisation?

Wait for the US IPO.

Megrez-1 is on the new Ahpun East leases.

The new leases haven't been confirmed yet.

They were expected to be confirmed by mid 2024 so they are only days away, perhaps.

So why the rush to permit and cash raise for a well on land where the lease hasn't been confirmed?

More barrels of oil in the ground and new asset reports have done little for the share price in recent years and Megrez-1 will do the same.

Why didn't the company wait to see the outcome of the AGDC funding attempt for pre-FID works?

What does that say about the gas pipeline?

And all the supposed funding benefits that will bring Pantheon?

There is no rush.

No money has been raised for the hot tap or the US IPO, and certainly not the facilities upgrade ($20 million) and the 3 Kodiak wells ($51 million).

Reality is catching up with the company but shareholders haven't noticed yet.

Be careful.

The announcement supports the fact the bottom share price is done. Clear away any doubts for foreseeable future. Loaded up this morning

Digby, the FD is Justin. Decisions such as this fund raise are not the sole responsibility of the FD. I expect they were hoping the share price would recover but took a pragmatic decision following the early collapse of the share price yesterday.

As to the remaining payments on the convertible bond, it will be fully repaid within 2 years, and I suspect future conversions will be done at increasingly higher share price values.
