Summary: Easymesh should allow the creation of mesh Wi-Fi networks without being locked into a single vendor. Arris have released the first EasyMesh-certified router, the VAP4641 Wireless Extender.

Commentary: Hopefully this will give buyers the confidence to go with Arris now without worrying they will be locked into a single vendor in future.

Been in the Faroe Islands today and the scenery is fabulous. Just logged on to the ship's Wi-Fi and seen the news trailed by Bruce McClelland during the results presentation last week. Sounds like a big deal.

I am currently in the North Atlantic Ocean heading towards Isafjordur in Iceland having been in Greenland. I have only been able to catch snippets of what has developed over this last week with the drop just after the results on Wednesday. However, when I looked in tonight, it seems that the after hours price has risen to $26.50. This is a rise of $3. Am I reading it correct? If so, why has it risen??
