An African Giraffe stares through the spiral-shaped horns of a Greater Kudu bull in Namibia, Africa. Greater Kudu are woodland antelope native to Southern Africa and these antelopes have horns, not antlers. Your Shot photographer Dries Alberts writes, “Basically this means that the antelopes never shed or lose their horns. Horns grow throughout its lifetime and one can judge the animal’s age by the amount of spirals. This specific bull is older.” Photograph by Dries Alberts
