Seen it all before

The low volume fake-out's are what give conviction to people who actually understand technical analysis

I for one hope this stays at this price over next few weeks as will top up with more funds available in few weeks time .Ideally I want the news Xmas eve.I don't see how we can't have won the case.My only doubt is the size of award which given the lost production revenues etc should be significant .There should an element of penalty in the award for the misappropriation of assets

Having listened to RS at this year's AGM, and briefly spoken to him I just can't imagine what would have motivated him to make the 'very near future' prediction. I know he was very embarrassed by the 'end 2014' RNS, so why do it again? Also worth bearing in mind that Rurulec were given a precise date and they RNS'd that.

john henry,

Is that a 2 x 4 length of timber or sleepers or roof battens or what ? And how many metres for 3p ? And which week ? Not a very helpful post.

Or did you mean OXS would be 3p in the week ? That is not a very helpful post either - you don't give any reasons why it should fall or why anyone who is a long term holder would care.

I think what PI's need to realise is that the wording 'the very near future' is so ambiguous.... days, weeks, months? You have to make your own interpretation. Sounds like it could be any day and then do we get a heads up date or the full blown RNS with award value?

the one thing people love to say accidental..... there is nothing accidental in an RNS.

Hopefully my last comment on 'the very near future'.

If the RNS has said 'Our lawyers advise us that we can expect a result in the very near future....', RS would have been in the clear if it had not happened, and shareholders would have known that it was similar to the 'end of 2014' comment.

Now all people have to decide is whether that omission was deliberate or accidental.

Donpatrol, I am still here with around 1.3m shares. I am just not connected to the internet very often (once a week if I am lucky). Nothing has changed as far as I am concerned, apart from the unwanted dilution, although if the award does not come out before the expiry date of the convertibles, then I suppose I will be glad Mr Shead did the deal he did with the CLN holders. Am not unappreciative that we now have a future even if the case were to be lost compared with before when we had a short term debt of $12m+ that we had no means of repaying. Fingers crossed for a good result, whenever it comes.

SP changes today have been odd.

The fall may have been as a result of the 300K sell earlier but it did provide some opportunity for a small top up.

I did say I will give it a rest, Festario and will do so. Since I first bought in early this year I have had periods when I have posted often on this bb and other periods where I have not posted. However I felt I had to defend myself against skez13's post on my charts.

I've posted my thoughts and my guesses at the likely arbitration verdict and the likely award over the weekend and also ridiculed the efforts of pennyfalls/pettycash & daviduzbek to imply the possibility of OXS having made corrupt payments, like Metal Tech, to the Uzbeks by quoting the FACTS of the Metal Tech arbitration failure. The arbitration panel said it had no jurisdiction over the claim since MT's corrupt payments had been against the terms of the BIT and Uzbek law. On the other hand the OXS arbitration claim passed the jurisdiction test (RNS 14/11/12) meaning they had not made corrupt payments.

Fingers crossed that when the verdict is announced it's good news. That's the only way I can influence the decision of the arbitration panel. LOL

PS. Todays fall in the share price is no doubt due to the expectation of many investors that news would be announced by the end of November. I suppose there is a slim hope it will be announced after the market closes today, but I'm not banking on it. LOL.

You are correct, kcowe. In fact the MM's only marked up the ARMS share price marginally on opening after the ARMS arbitration verdict was announced. It closed the day before the verdict at 4p and the MM's opened it up at just over 6p and in fact the ARMS share price dropped slightly at first before hitting an intraday high of 27.5p before closing at 24.5p.

It's often the case that the MM's get the mood of investors completely wrong and either open up far too low (as was the case with ARMS) and the share price subsequently shoots up, or open up far too high and the share price collapses back on news being issued.

Thank you both for that. I was aware of the correct wording but I thought it might strike a better chord with most people using the more common but incorrect version.

It's amazing how we all fill up our time waiting for OXS.....

I took advantage of another decent buying opportunity today as it's 2 months since the now infamous words were issued by RS, so IMO result is due around now.

It's really comes down to your method of trading / investing and 'are you feeling lucky, punk ?' (which of course he never actually said).

ARMS share price intra day was traded ... it didn't shoot straight up.. it rerated in stages through the day...those that got in still made handsome 1 bagger , with out the risk of total wipeout.
