30/11/2015 14:09 | Who knows if it will go lower, maytrees, in the short term? I reckon traders will be looking for the MACD to turn up and the RSI to start to rise again before buying again. The share price is currently just above the 200 day EMA which may, or may not, provide support for the OXS share price Of course we could have news at anytime, which could render any chart based prediction complete nonsense. | ![]() papillon

30/11/2015 14:00 | "We do, however, know the source of "by year end" (not Christmas) - it was at the AGM" Agreed, Nick, but what I meant was who was the source of that information given by RS at the AGM? RS may have said that at the AGM, but who gave him that information? | ![]() papillon
30/11/2015 13:57 | I can see either a hasty edit or legal ramifications to post 29306. Aim is full of shady characters but in this instance we have directors who are aligned to shareholder aspirations and, in my view, have integrity. I suspect they won't take kindly to the above post. | ![]() nick2412
30/11/2015 13:57 | The factual information in the public domain (admittedly it's mainly information released by OXS in RNS's so it's basically one sided information) leads me to believe that OXS will win their arbitration claim and will be awarded substantial compensation sufficient to significantly increase the OXS share price I can't state I'm 100% confident of OXS winning, just as I can't definitely say how much OXS will be awarded if they do win. Also I can't definitely say how much of that award Calunius will take. Hence the reason why I have limited my exposure to OXS to an amount I feel happy with. | ![]() papillon

30/11/2015 13:54 | I hesitate to bite that hand that will (hopefully) feeds but I'd direct any criticism on timescales at the arbitrators. Whether that criticism is justified will only be known if we see the full text of the decision and the complexity and volume of legal points they have been wrestling with. | ![]() nick2412
30/11/2015 13:54 | Its obvious now that the 'very near future ' was put in to raise the share price before the cash call to the market.Have no doubt the bod\management are a shady bunch | donpatrol
30/11/2015 13:47 | papillon - you're right we don't know the source of his "very near future" comment. We do, however, know the source of "by year end" (not Christmas) - it was at the AGM. Whether he pre-fixed it with he'd "be shocked if it doesn't come before year end" or something similar I can't remember as the AGM was a while ago now. We also know that the source of his end of 2014 statement for a decision came from his lawyers. That's been reported consistently by anyone who asked him the question. I assume they are the source for the latest timescale projection but, in this instance, I'd expect RS to check it has substance. In other words the lawyers have got the timescale from the panel. I think, at least in the context of listed company news, then 'very near term' should not mean longer than the next quarter. That would take us to year end. | ![]() nick2412
30/11/2015 13:42 | If a truth can not be questioned or be open to question. It is no truth in my book. | ![]() kcowe
30/11/2015 13:42 | The 200 day EMA is at 3.30p. It's possible the share price will drop that low. It's possible the share price will drop significantly below that 200 day EMA as it did in late July/early August. There is no way I can forecast how far the share price will drop in the continuing absence of news; however there will be a low reached where the price becomes attractive to buyers again. I have no idea of what that price is, just as I have no idea when news will be issued. Volume is currently very, very, low on AIM. Most holders (like myself) are content to hold and await news. So the sellers and any buyers are few in number, but they will determine the direction of the share price not the many holders. Unfortunately many holders, like myself, are content with their holding and don't wont to increase their exposure to OXS by buying more shares. It needs new buyers to push up the OXS share price That needs news or the perception that the OXS share price is very cheap. How low the OXS share price goes before it attracts those "bottom fisher" buyers, I have no idea. The MACD & RSI might give some idea (though they are not "guaranteed" to give the right answer indicators). Currently neither the MACD, or RSI, are indicating OXS is a buy. There is no doubt that many traders use these indicators as buying pointers. I'm not a trader and I wouldn't be prepared to be so because news of the verdict can come any day; be it an RNS giving a definite date as happened with RUR, or the verdict as happened with ARMS. | ![]() papillon
30/11/2015 13:20 | Sorry, Rossannan, I agree with the tone of hairballradical's post 29298. There seem to be two immutable principles on this board - one, we will win, and two, RS is infallible. If anyone dares to question either of these, they are attacked one way or another. P.S. This is not a reflection on GS whom, as I have said before, runs a good board. | ![]() jaf1948 |
