It's probably the same for nearly every commodity share - most of those stocks have been beaten down by up to 90% over the last 5 years, is it unfair for some to be picking those up cheaply as well?

The ones buying today are buying based on the short term (potential) gains. The LTH were presumably buying into the companies future plans, and not just gambling on an arbitration court case. STH run the risk of ending up with nothing if things don't go to plan with this bullet.

ron and others with a huge chip about Short term holders, just why do any of you consider somebody who bought today is in any way inferior to somebody who bought years ago?

Maybe they just, "found" the stock market, maybe they were not looking for an opportunity like oxus, maybe they thought it was too risky, maybe they saw it but held off as long as they thought was prudent. lots of reasons.

The thought on here seems to consider that LTH should be paid a loyalty bonus, why?? Market forces determine the payout level on judgement day, a shareholder is a shareholder no matter what the share is, or when you bought, we are all equal, so please can we put this LTH versus STH argument where it belongs, in the bin. Just saying.

Yes there is an argument, but that's not the way the stock market (or life for that matter) works.

Is there an argument that says why should current shareholders be compensated if they have only just bought shares. Past shareholders were the ones that lost value when they sold. Just asking?

"Rab have been selling for years.." and will, no doubt, continue to sell prior to the RNS announcing the arbitration verdict.

Ross,

Never mind he's just one of the vast numbers of ADVFN's resident nutters.

Pap,

He was being a smart ass, I thought you were following suit with your cut and paste. Personally don't see the link between either company but fair enough you were just wishing us OXS holders better luck with the arbi verdict, nothing wrong with that.

Regards,
Ed.
