22/11/2015 07:40 | I think I'll reserve judgement until the cash hits our accounts... | 99jeremiah
21/11/2015 20:47 | R.S. is not an instinctive person from what I have read in various publications, he is a planner who follows his paths as laid out by himself. R.S. will have the future of OXUS mapped out in whichever event happens. R.S. has made his support for oxus shareholders crystal clear, no ambiguity, R.S. will ensure his supporters get their true reward. Rather like the paymasters who have financed the survival of oxus they in turn have been put in an advantageous position inasmuch as they will receive a truly remarkable pay out, which they have earned by their loyalty. All in all, an Aim company that defies the norm, and treats its supporters and shareholders with the highest regard, in other words, R.S. is a truly, Honourable Gentleman. | kun aguero1
21/11/2015 20:00 | Well i'm waiting for the award pay day rather than the initial reaction! | wulber
21/11/2015 19:48 | Reesyheli. The ARMS share price closed at 4p the day before their arbitration verdict (30th December). The next day (31st) their arbitration verdict was announced and the share price reached an intraday high of 27.5p before closing at 24.5p. The following day the intraday high was 30.5p yet 5 trading days after the arbitration result the intraday low was 8.25p with a closing price of 9p. So perhaps your post 28614 could prove correct. Who knows? Who can tell? None of us can see into the future. I'd be happy if the OXS share price behaved as per the ARMS share price on the day the verdict is announced. I'd be happy with a 27.5p intraday high for OXS. Higher still would be even nicer!! | papillon
21/11/2015 19:33 | £2.30 kinaguero1 ...that would make my year....bit like winning lottery hit highly unlikely. | kcowe
21/11/2015 18:24 | All these morbid predictions are so they can seem sensible and level headed, instead those take a view agreeing with E & Y, but adding in an amount for misappropriation plus interest are classed as quoting "wild figures". That is so those same moaners can say, "happy to be proved wrong" when award comes to £2.30 a pop plus, and take it from E. & Y you will be proved, very wrong. | kun aguero1
21/11/2015 16:50 | Dave & Jeremiah You could equally ask in the case of a big awards would Mr Market doff his cap and say "Well done chaps you put one over on us there.." Name one share where they have been caught with their pants down. And by that I mean where a buying op hasn't presented itself at some point. I'm willing to bet 8p will be possible at some point post announcement and so by the look of it does Mr market (sp @ 4p) despite the wild figures bandied around on here. And I'll come on and apologise to both of you if proven wrong. I hold BTW it's just my own way of explaining to myself why the share price is at 4p on what on the surface looks like a 80 / 20 bet, ask anyone who held GKP from 450p down to 26p "Because you wouldn't want to be out when that bid RNS comes out of the blue" for the opposite view You guys will no doubt conclude differently | reesyheli
21/11/2015 16:47 | Thanks PennyI wouldn't be surprised if we get news this week.My gut feeling is we've won and c. $500 - $700 mn award. | wulber
21/11/2015 15:51 | riskier - I think the end 2014 was based more on (very poor) forward predictions (based on past cases) without any additional evidence. I believe that from what Richard Wilkins said, they have been told specifically there is a result in the pipeline in the "very near future". If that ends up being false, they are certainly taking the p*ss, but I'm trusting in what I was told at this moment. | pennyfalls
21/11/2015 15:50 | Riskier .. I agree lest we forget, I would expect RS learned that lesson and has not repeated it. | kcowe
21/11/2015 15:47 | #28607 - lest we forget, at this year's AGM RS said the 'end 2014' prediction was based on lawyers' advice. | riskier
21/11/2015 13:54 | For what it's worth the OXS Ichimoku chart has turned Strongly Bullish again. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com MACD turning up, but yet to indicate a buy. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | papillon
21/11/2015 11:48 | So far holding my risky Oxus shares helped me to stay away from some and reduce loses on virtually less risky oilers. | marmar80
21/11/2015 11:38 | I just noticed that the PoG spiked at $1921 in August 2011, at the exact time that Oxus filed for arbitration. That was good timing :) Let's hope that Professor Stern keeps consistent with her recent pronouncement on the use of current valuations in expropriations being flawed. | john6185
21/11/2015 11:32 | Reesy -You seriously think that if we suddenly get awarded $500m that the market is going to stop on the way to 40p to pick up stragglers at 8p? | 99jeremiah
21/11/2015 11:29 | Reesy - with a win within the expected range the share price will be north of 20p instantly! I will look out for your comment on that day! | dave444
21/11/2015 11:08 | No don't think many have thought it through .. we choose the lens in which to view the world. The general market which has and is unkind to the values on stocks on aim, still does not value oxs chance of winning much as 30mill cap doesn't reflect the potential here ,with or without the general poor performance in secondary market stocks, which is no doubt at work here , I should have thought being in the endgame a higher valuation reflecting the bull point of view would come into play! may be that 700k buy might be the a forebear of what is to come who knows. Im cautiously optimistic that we are in the home straight with the finishing line in sight. With ARMS results being released on 30th December last year, RS"s now famous rns,one would like to believe this will be over by year end. | kcowe
21/11/2015 11:07 | You could be right as the possibility of losing everything has never been discussed here before . . . . Thanks for raising it . . . | cufes2
21/11/2015 10:52 | The fact that they are selling indicates to me that they are not prepared to risk losing further capital on what is a binary outcome. The 700k punt yesterday could quite easily be a very wealthy trader where £28K is merely pocket money. My less than positive stance is trying to make the ultra rampers here see that they could lose there investment to zero. Have they really thought this through. | john henry |
