13/12/2023 10:31 | AGM and full report info... A copy of the report and accounts for the year ended 31 July 2023 will shortly be posted to shareholders and a copy will be available to download from the company's website at www.orchardfundinggr | davidosh
13/12/2023 09:26 | And what does Mr.Market think of the results.......... I think it is better to look at this as a 'private company' until it is taken over or taken private. | konradpuss
13/12/2023 08:09 | CWA1, I think you are right. This information will, I guess be in the annual report. Odd it is not in this release. Happy to hear from the company twice a year with most metrics going in the right direction. | konradpuss
13/12/2023 07:56 | Happy enough on the first glance Have I missed something? Can anyone else see the ex-dividend and dividend payment dates that are normally included in a finals announcement? | cwa1
13/12/2023 07:39 | Growing business, now at 21% earning yield, 8% dividends, very conservatively run. Just lacks the excitement ? | galles
13/12/2023 07:08 | He finished that statement before the kettle boiled. | playful
01/12/2023 14:27 | Maybe a new investor seeing the light and buying in? | 97peter
01/12/2023 14:00 | UT trade again above offer price. | battlebus2
16/11/2023 09:37 | KnPuss - Great to hear and I think the share price is turning in the right direction. We should get a date for AGM and divi announcement soon! Once interest rates come down in 2024, plus Gaza situ and Ukraine situ are sorted, the world and stock sp’s can bounce? | 97peter
15/11/2023 21:11 | Two wars, a bad set of politicians, high interest rates inflation and a total lack of investor interest in most U.K. quoted companies. Also note what many listed companies are doing - buying back their own shares. They obviously feel they would rather not risk investing in new areas of business rather consolidate what they have at below intrinsic value. Well are we surprised at the share price? When I bought my stock (above this share price) I bought a small part of the business. I was and still am happy with the price I paid. As I said before 'only monkey picky bottom'. | konradpuss
15/11/2023 18:07 | just out the stalls but 4 miles to go I think | cowie19
15/11/2023 10:18 | Off to the races at last? | cwa1
14/11/2023 10:20 | Minuscule speck of blue has appeared against ORCH... | cwa1
02/11/2023 14:58 | True Konradpuss but unlikely. | battlebus2
02/11/2023 14:47 | battlebus, I believe that quite a few golf clubs have close anyway as none of the young have time to spend five hours playing a round of golf and then pontificating in the bar. I think a few private schools might close when VAT goes on school fees after Labour get in. Now did you see what I did there? As to property any bank with loads of exposure to offices/commercial property (think Handelsbanken in the U.K.) will suffer some pain now and for some considerable while. Now I am not predicting a depression although you never know. Who was predicting a banking crisis in 2007? Not many. | konradpuss
02/11/2023 14:45 | Why would Ravi not see any benefit in meeting investors at this conference? If investors have cash and want to pick the bottom and trust management teams before they invest then this is the time to be out there introducing Orchard. He may pick up some business too. | davidosh
02/11/2023 14:13 | Peter, on another view we could be heading into a depression. Golf club closed, private school shut and lots of property loans defaulting. Now that's an ugly scenario. Who knows. | konradpuss
02/11/2023 13:58 | Kpuss this is the bottom! My prediction for day before divi date is 42p. I think the ex-divi dates could be around 21 Dec? AGM and announcements I am chasing next week with Ravi. | 97peter
02/11/2023 13:45 | BB2 and CEA1 - Patience prevails plus the tick up maybe due to others and people like me chipping away and buying 10,000-25,000 shares each week? Onwards and upwards, the company is well run , has lots of great clients, plus new avenues like Bridging loans, schools and golf clubs all adding to the solid state of its loans to solicitors/accountan | 97peter
02/11/2023 13:43 | 'Only monkey picky bottom' I wonder if this is it? | konradpuss
02/11/2023 13:27 | Nice to see a little tick up in the bid | cwa1
02/11/2023 13:23 | Interest rates held today. The optimist in me hopes this is the peak and 2024 will see them fall back. This can only be good news for ORCH. | battlebus2 |
