17/10/2023 13:34 | Was referring to the post immediately above mine by My Retirement Fund | cwa1
17/10/2023 13:29 | Don’ know why the sudden rush by a few to sell at 36p? So picked up another 24,921 at 37.4p. The average buy now seems around 37p. Should settle at 36/37p, u til we get a RNS for date of AGM and announcement of December divi. CWA1 what do you mean 32p? | 97peter
17/10/2023 13:19 | What's 32p now? | cwa1
16/10/2023 14:52 | Got a few at 35….. | battlebus2
16/10/2023 14:49 | Fonzie andBB2, buying opportunity!!! Those selling allow us to pick up at 37.8p , so have done 20,000. This is a blip until things globally and Israel, Ukraine and oil and prices, interest rates improve! | 97peter
16/10/2023 14:38 | Indeed but currently it’s baseless imho. Very little in my portfolio that’s not red again today. | battlebus2
16/10/2023 14:35 | It's very difficult, a new low! | fozzie
16/10/2023 14:31 | Keep smiling everyone. | battlebus2
12/10/2023 11:25 | Another 10,000 and 3,743 bought at less than 39p. Steady build up to end of November, when we should get notice of divi and ex-divi date and payment dates. Plus hopefully an AGM in early December for us to see the CEO and Directors/ team in London or Luton? | 97peter
11/10/2023 16:27 | It's the yield that counts, not the SP | galles
11/10/2023 15:19 | SP obviously comes into it!! Why would it not? Plus yes ORCH is a very stable and consistently returns and run company. If it was taken back private we would not lose! | 97peter
11/10/2023 13:44 | It's not a fair comparison, and share price doesn't come into play at all | galles
11/10/2023 13:00 | Do you really feel Orchard is as safe as a FTSE 100 company giving the same yield? There is always the delisting cloud hanging over companies that are sub scale. In other words the listing costs are a significant part of the admin costs and are not really beneficial to the company unless needing to raise funds or use the stock for M&A | davidosh
11/10/2023 12:54 | The £10 share price of say UU or NG , who only give a 23p divi. For £10 you could have 26 ORCH shares which equals a 52p divi for same £10 invested. That is what I was trying to inform. | 97peter
11/10/2023 12:25 | I don't understand the comment about £10 share and 40p share... | galles
11/10/2023 11:17 | Agree CWA1 and BB2, why buy at 40p, when you can pick up cheap at 38.5p, just managed another 4,500. Will keep topping up at this price of 38 or 39p, all the way to December until the nice 2p divi!!! A no brainer for a long term holder, wanting a fantastic revenue, as good as UU, NG, and many more in FTSE 100 and 250. People forget the £10 price of larger shares, when compared to 40p and a 2p divi. | 97peter
09/10/2023 08:23 | AND that's an online price(38.7p). With a "full fat" broker you'd most likely be able to get inside the price too... | cwa1
09/10/2023 07:58 | Yes that’s what I was wondering. | battlebus2
09/10/2023 07:40 | Seems a funny old way to go about it when you consider that you can buy 20,000 in the market at 38.7p! | cwa1
09/10/2023 07:22 | 24k bought at 40.60p UT. | battlebus2
08/10/2023 17:26 | Hi all, Nothing new in what Tristan says. See Mello presentation where Ravi explains core market! All shares and companies affected by % interest rates. BUT long term 95% of Orchard loans are guaranteed by clients! See Mello and other sites on what OrCh is and does then invest!!! | 97peter
08/10/2023 17:18 | Now Tristan is an interesting cove. Battlebus, thank you. I am always looking for new ideas from others. I think I will dwell a little on his site. | konradpuss
08/10/2023 11:53 | Yes hit the link I’ve provided. It’s a post of his on sub stack | battlebus2 |
