14/9/2023 14:47 | I keep rubbing the minuscule blue spot showing beside the ORCH share price today-but it doesn't seem to want to go away. Is my laptop screen broken? | cwa1
10/9/2023 12:01 | I think we should all let the numbers do the talking. Just my humble. | konradpuss
10/9/2023 11:28 | So he has moved from doing some engagement and a Mello in September to nothing but announcing presumably the results and AGM in October. The last time he did any engagement was 10 months ago. Does not fill me with positivity and the share price has dropped by almost 50% from the June 2022 peak so reporting to loyal shareholders is crucial or they join the sellers. | davidosh
10/9/2023 11:18 | Hi all, No Mello session but all is going well! There will be updates and hopefully a RNS in October on AGZm and next divi dates and the 2p as expected! | 97peter
25/8/2023 14:02 | CWA, every little helps! I am tempted to offer a call to a few of the depressed posters on this board. As I have said before 'this too will pass'. | konradpuss
25/8/2023 13:36 | Holy moly, either there's something amiss with my laptop...or, and this sounds unlikely, ORCH has sprung a spirited charge upwards by one whole half pence! | cwa1
24/8/2023 20:25 | Simple for you perhaps! | cwa1
24/8/2023 20:12 | ALL, I will arrange a Mellomorgeneral shateh9lder session for September?!! Simple as!! | 97peter
24/8/2023 17:44 | Maybe he means mugs 🤣 | battlebus2
24/8/2023 14:15 | Peter, 'cheap as cups'! Surely you mean 'cheap as chips'? | konradpuss
24/8/2023 13:59 | All, I will be speaking with Ravi tomorrow and will encourage him to do a Mello presentation or a adhoc meet and greet / Q&A session in September for all shareholders? Plus picked up 8,272 more cheap as cups shares today! | 97peter
23/8/2023 15:18 | I think there is a wider picture here presently private investors have little interest in small cap shares and almost zero interest in microcap shares;small cap funds are probably net sellers due to declining interest in the sector and in any case are rarely interested in companies with a sub £100m market value. The finance & banking sector is in addition out of favour due to worries about credit default by customers whether correct remains to be seen & tighter margins between their cost of borrowing & lending.Small cap bank Secure Trust is trading on a PE of around 3 and under 40% of book NAV;S&U with a good record going back 50 year on the market is very lowly rated.Even Close Bros has a share price down to levels 20 years ago.... ORCH I think could help it self a bit by making a trading statement at the end of the interim & annual trading period but I assume that trading remains "in line with expectations" as at interim results. I doubled my holding last week to 20000 shares but whilst I think this a decent well managed company with a good business offer that is my limit of holding for a microcap in todays market. | 1tx
23/8/2023 14:50 | Do ask Ravi about Mello as he really should do more than just one presentation in all these years. They need to be done regularly so that investors build knowledge and trust. | davidosh
23/8/2023 11:23 | Davidosh, and others I moved out of ORCH and into BBB and STAF for some short term to medium hopeful gains!! Plus I have been buying and selling into ORCH for over 2 years! If you all would like another Mello presentation or an adhoc CEO to shareholders session , I can ask and arrange? | 97peter
23/8/2023 09:05 | konradpuss.....Have they been skint for the past seven years would be my next question? It is not unreasonable to expect investment by directors especially as they are raising money from the market and bonds. | davidosh
23/8/2023 08:27 | David, they (the other Directors) might be 'skint' like most of the folk in the U.K. currently. | konradpuss
23/8/2023 08:12 | It is also interesting to me that Agms are at very awkward times in the year so I was unable to meet the directors which I like to do when invested. Has anyone seen or spoken to the other directors None of them own shares in the company even though it is high yielding and they are in the best seats. Whilst they have been directors the share price has dropped from over £1 to just 36p so why do they not show some confidence and invest in the future of the company? | davidosh
23/8/2023 07:46 | Peter...If you are close to Ravi then why not encourage him to update shareholders or do a presentation where we can all openly ask questions and understand why the share price has halved in the past year? There needs to be more confidence in the company even before consideration of being patient and as we have seen some shareholders have given up completely which acerbates the fall. I am afraid you are also seen as the cause of the fall from December as you were selling when new investors including me became shareholders and existing shareholders were pleased to see Ravi presenting on Mello. That was your big opportunity to sell and so many on here will have strong views about your positive tones whilst actually selling stock. | davidosh
23/8/2023 06:48 | Peter, are you sure you are not Ravi using a nom de plume? | konradpuss
22/8/2023 17:27 | Agree with Florenceand Battkesbus, buying opportunity and patience. Plus if anyone on this BB has had no response from the Orchard Investor Relations or Ravi the CEO? Then please do reach out to me either via DM on this BB or via e-mail to my work e-mail, petersmith640@hotmai GLA Peter | 97peter
22/8/2023 17:03 | Yes value will certainly out at some point and like I’ve said before it’s a buying opportunity for those with patience. | battlebus2
22/8/2023 15:19 | If you adjust for working cap movements, proceeds from borrowings and dividends then FCF for H1 was at least 1m. If they do that again in H2 then you currently have a 25% FCF yield on offer and an opportunity to purchase a rock solid net loan book of 18m for 8m. For what it’s worth I suspect H2 won’t produce similar results as H1 seeing as there is a lagging effect when rates are on the rise. They have to wait for the old loans at lower rates to mature whilst paying the higher cost of borrowing themselves. Although that obviously doesn’t apply to the proportion of money lent from their own balance sheet so it’s only a partial effect. Even so, my inclination is to say so what? Rates won’t be in a hiking cycle forever. If I have the opportunity to purchase a 25% FCF yield and a huge margin of safety on the loan book because others aren’t willing to wait through 6 months of lowered profits or even losses, then that’s great! I think I remember seeing someone on here saying that value will out at some point. I agree. | florence141414 |
