Great feedback from Adnan - nice to see some real-world results. Thanks : )Chrisg11, I believe back when the human trials were RNS'd by Opti we came to the conclusion that the cholesterol reduction would not be quite as much as statins but really not far off. This feedback from Adnan shows similar results after the recommended 3 months usage. I do agree it would be interesting to get further results as time goes on to see if it has indeed stabilised at that level. One month intervals would be great if possible Adnan hint hint ; )Personally I wouldn't have expected anything less than the cholesterol level to increase slightly after transferring from Statins to LP-LDL.Its a shame Adnan didn't get a couple more readings during this 3 month period - it would've have been nice to know whether the levels shot back up towards the 7.5 and then slowly dribbled down over the 3 months to where it is now for example?I look forward to reading further feedback from Adnan and others that may be trying it.CheersSienna

Chris, to have a level playing field you have to use the baseline figure of 7.5. I agree on face value the tablets were more effective but there are side effects and you don't get the blood pressure reduction. I agree this is not totally scientific but that has already been done by OPTI and it showed a reduction in both cholesterol and blood pressure. Adnan's results confirm that LP LDL works.

Chris his chlo level with no medication is around 7.5 with statins this is reduced to 5.5. Using LP LDL 7.5 is reduced to 6. However no longer suffers the side effects from Statins.

There seems to be some artistic license in the interpretation of Dr Adnan's results.

It's completely incorrect to use 7.5 as a baseline and clearly the cholesterol level has increased since starting the new formula.

I would agree that further results over a longer period are needed to make a more accurate assessment of things.

The BP readings are interesting as this is the second poster showing this effect although as with all the evidence so far the study numbers are low.

I am a long term holder so have a great interest in this but let's keep to scientific accuracy.

If I have completely misunderstood the results then please correct me but it seems very simple to me..Adnan's cholesterol went up on the new formulation and its plain wrong to claim a reduction.

uzbek2, a reasonable question. However, if you introduce a low fat diet or use slimbiome I would expect it to reduce further. Also 3 months is probably long enough to give a good indication of a sustained lower level.

Thanks Ratboy, I guess the question now is, after 3 months the cholesterol level has moved back up slightly to 6. Now over the next 3 months, will it move up to say 6.5 or down to 5.5.

Pharma performance from a natural product!!

uzbek2, I think you are correct but Adnan's cholesterol was 7.5 before taking any medication so if he came off the statins the assumption is it would go back up to that level. Hence at 6 it is a 20% reduction from that level of 7.5. However, there is the added benefit of no side effects and a good reduction in blood pressure.

Hi Adnan, those are amazing results!! well done!
Opti are interested in getting anecdotal evidence and feedback on people taking their products. I did a phone interview with Vane Percy and Roberts, ( Opti PR company), to let them know my story and results from taking LP LDL. I am sure they would be interested in your take on things, ( being a GP and all!)
cheers Nick

Adnan, thanks for the very positive news. Just for my own clarification, you moved directly from statins to LP LDL so at that point were at 5.5 and then increased to 6 whilst using the LP LDL? Is that correct?

Now you will continue to use LP LDL to try and move from 6 to 5?

For me the blood pressure reduction is as significant as the cholesterol reduction. I had a pacemaker box change operation on Wednesday, my 4th heart pacemaker, and my blood pressure was similar to Adnan's. So it would be of great benefit to reduce it.

Excellent results Adnan. Thanks for sharing. When you consider how much you'd have to spend on benecol products to get your cholesterol down by just 10%, these really are good value with the added bonus of blood pressure reduction!Chart looks set for a decent move up next week.

Excellent adnanwolf, thanks for the feedback. If I remember rightly you work in the medical profession correct?
Would be really interesting to see someone who is on statins stay on statins and take the LP LDL strain as well, as I believe you can take both and further cholesterol loss.

As I went straight from statin to LP LDL I cant get a direct comparison. But I am assuming my baseline of 7.5 without any intervention was accurateThanksAdnan

Doesn't that mean the statin was more effective but there are side effects? I know it's a great result and could be bettered with a low fat diet I presume. However, 20% is quite remarkable with no real change in diet and no side effects. I would be happy to see that kind of reduction.

Onto BP average before LP LDL was 135/90 Checked over 1 week twice a day average now is 122/84 which is awesomeAs a side note the upper back pains I was getting after a long day at work are about 60-70% better off the statinI am ordering my next batch of LP LDL and will be making some dietary adjustments. I think I can bring this down to 5.0 without a statin in 3 months which would be a 33% decrease without a statin. Let's see. But so far considering I have familial hyper cholesterolaemia ie genetically bad cholesterol and not so great diet the results are awesome. With a statin I had a 27% decrease and with LPLDL 20% so not bad going at all. At a population level intervention with LPGOS would make a substantial benefit to population CV risk. Just add it to Chappati/naan flour !!Good luck to all LTH Adnan
