The tide has definitely turned I have not found stock so difficult to buy in Opti as I did yesterday.

My wife has a small investment pot and had to pay way over the advertised offer price for 20k ish.

I added a few but wanted more however at one point I was being asked for 75p for a not overly large order.

Someone wants Opti stock is my guess and the MM are trying to fill it.

Same as Trin which was 'held' in a range for weeks despite obvious buying them a Rns of a huge buyer and the price doubles in a couple of weeks.

That's aim for you - one almost has to ignore short term price action and keep faith in the Dd.

I think its best not to try to anticipate the next RNS. We should also put the 39 RNS figure to bed because it is not helpful and has the potential to create a negative perception OPTI have not delivered and miss what SOH intended to get across. "just to give investors a flavour of the interest there are 39 opportunities for potential RNS’s." SOH explicitly stated that not all of these will materialise as some are competing for the same territory. This alone should be a flag to tell us there is a competitive environment going on for OPTI's products and identifying the right partner takes time, one might say, a perfect situation for OPTI get reep the best possible deal.

It was interesting to see the share price move up as it did on the back of no news Tuesday, because the reverse has been the case for such a prolong period. I wouldn't suggest it may be a signal of a change in sentiment, it's just a welcome change, tomorrow we may give it back, who knows.

I know you boys know a lot more than about shares than me so can you tell me why I have to pay a one pound spread on my Elis shares? but on the French stock market it's nearly the same buy and sell price?

Gives you a good aim point if you have complaints running..my other half has yet to settle. we're still moving to iii, better access to international markets therefore minimizing exposure. Also £ per year for account not a monthly percentage of your pot.

belgrano2, same here had quite a few problems with the new platform,Barclays have responded to my complaint stated would get back to me by 26/10/17, depending on what their response is I may be making a further complaint. Seems to me they employed Micky Mouse to design the new platform.

One of these dawns won't be false...it may well be this one.

Then imagine bagging what we bagged last time up to a pound. I'll let others work out the multiplier, but talk of one or two pounds is well short of the mark.

Well my wife has finally taken the plunge and bought some albeit at a premium.

There's no stock about if you want any volume.

Personally I think there could be fireworks soon.

just a bit off topic, but i know many investors here also deal with barc, who recently changed platform and made a massive C--- up over the transition. Following my formal complaints they have just offered me £250 as an apology, towards my hrs of wasted time, trying to put things right.

Marnewton - As you and many have guessed by now, I am no chartist as such, but have a basic grasp allowing me to better time entries and exits. Will we hold, fall back or break through...I think we are close to the turning point in the share price moving out of it current range. Regardless of what is expected news wise, I would imagine a strong share price in anticipation of LPGOS/TATA production, which starts in November, and full production in December, no doubt in readiness for the New Year weightloss battle we may learn of SlimBiome by Christmas. I'm confident the TATA production will garner interest alone, everything else is a bonus and we are yet to learn of SlimBiome/TATA.

There's a bit of a symmetrical triangle we could be breaking out of here - albeit a tad too close to the apex (it looks best on the arithmetic scale rather than my usual semi-log).

Lots of resistance between 73.00/75.00p...but the 50 day SMA has provided good support and we are currently just above the 200 day.

You're right shazbo, but during the past few years one of the large holders has sold and stopped any momentum. With helium, Seneca (except their EIS shares) and David Evans now out, the difference this time is there's nothing to hold us back. YSF still have millions but they haven't regularly dripped sales into the market like the sellers listed above, instead selling large chunks infrequently.

Personally it'll look good to me when it gets to a £1 and it sticks. Yes I know we're getting closer and no-one will be happier than me when we get there, BUT we've seen this kind of thing week in, week out for two years!
