04/3/2022 21:08 | Cenkos have a fire-sale seller to me Bubba I bought at 7.14p and 7, then during the day the online offer dripped down to 6.99p then 6.94p, then 6.9p, 6.85p then closed at 6.825p with people nibbling all the way down. 2 x 250k sales popped up at 6.5p, they are certainly working a distressed seller at all time lows, probably freaked out by the coal price which is freaking the world out the way it's spiking ! | ![]() dave4545
04/3/2022 20:32 | Would Gupta actual sell if a takeover bid came? That's the important question cos he is the biggest shareholder, I don't understand the incentive to let the share price drop so low it should be the opposite Also Total Assets minus Total liabilities = £167,454,336 Shares Outstanding = 400,733,511 Book is worth 41p a share If they do intend to sell they can give me book any day of the week That's a 500% increase on todays market value I'm trying to work the liquation value if the company fails to make debt repayments due to high coal price but I see this a worst case scenario I still think Adani could be the preferred buyer if sold | bubbabubbabubba
04/3/2022 16:22 | Some huge blocks off stock changing hands. Price to buy still dropping. Everytime I refresh it the price seems to be lower. Online now 6.7-6.84p | ![]() dave4545
04/3/2022 14:28 | Cenkos seem to be printing them. They have been hit with some massive buys but still offering 250k online at 6.99p atm | ![]() dave4545
04/3/2022 12:22 | Apologies about 500mw altogether so 80 million to 100 million which is 3 times the share price currently | bubbabubbabubba
04/3/2022 12:00 | Another 500k buy at 7.3p Enough to tempt me to buy 2 lots of 75k at 7.1p and 7.14p | ![]() dave4545
04/3/2022 11:52 | I dont think we need to find bottom I think OPG it will be soldShareprice getting crushed Adani power bought a 1200mw coal power plant from essar power for £300 million OPG has 700MW coal power plant + solar assetsSo OPG acquisition value could be worth £100-150 million | bubbabubbabubba
04/3/2022 11:37 | 500k buyer earlier at 7.5p 7.14p to buy now, it's mighty tempting but where's the bottom with all these stocks | ![]() dave4545
04/3/2022 08:50 | Hopeful they raise tariffs by 40% its been happening in other Indian states | bubbabubbabubba
04/3/2022 08:48 | Now worth more in salvage value than the market cap | bubbabubbabubba
04/3/2022 07:56 | Coal down 30 from last night now at 370, still sky high | ![]() dave4545
04/3/2022 07:53 | I invested in OPG a few years back when it was 20p odd. Escaped with my shirt after small loss after meeting Gupta. I though he was useless and sold. So I don’t have shares and no price would persuade me to. | ![]() andycapp1
03/3/2022 21:43 | You invested here?... andycapp124 Feb '22 - 09:45 - 5904 of 5918 0 1 0 This thing really is a spectacular heap of dung. | ![]() diku
03/3/2022 20:28 | It's mental the rise in coal prices last few days I always use this site. It was steady around 230-240 when I was checking a short while back and now it's 400 How on earth can the world's people pay these crazy price increases of everything | ![]() dave4545
03/3/2022 12:19 | Yes coal has gone higher An increase in tarrif would be our best friend right nowSomething has to give all powerplants will be struggling at the momentThere will be blackouts across the nation if high prices continue | bubbabubbabubba
03/3/2022 08:01 | The equity to a PE buyer might be worth 20p, something like that. Could be 30p, but doesn’t make much odds. It’s a few £m either way which is a rounding error. If it gets taken private it’ll be at the lowest price Gupta (or an other) can get away with. | ![]() andycapp1
02/3/2022 21:47 | andycapp126 Feb '22 - 00:41 - 5907 of 5914 Knock off debt and the equity might be worth 30p, andycapp11 Mar '22 - 23:06 - 5909 of 5914 I might, as a traded entity, give you two maybe three x EBITDA for it. Maybe 20p, something like that. andycapp12 Mar '22 - 20:52 - 5914 of 5914 Only reason I’d buy is the take private arb. Which might be 10p to say 20p? LOL, andy. 5p tomorrow? 1p next week? I see where your chart's going! ;-) | ![]() jeffian
02/3/2022 20:52 | Yup don’t disagree it’s a cash cow. It chucks off (and should chuck off) oodles of cash. But whether you get any is entirely at the whim of the Gupta monster. Only reason I’d buy is the take private arb. Which might be 10p to say 20p? | ![]() andycapp1
02/3/2022 20:10 | The ebit/enterprise value will be 0.8x if coal goes down or tarrif increase ludicrous BIG IF Bubba | ![]() jailbird
02/3/2022 16:52 | I'm buying more soon, the market cap is 28 million makes 20 million at peak the government will step in if blackouts start to occurThe ebit/enterprise value will be 0.8x if coal goes down or tarrif increase ludicrous Someone picked up half a million shares Generally think they will sell the company or take it private pointless being public where market value it at this level Severe overreaction so much growth potential Company need to buy back shares they own 50% already | bubbabubbabubba
02/3/2022 15:52 | I'm keeping an eye on these as I have done for many years. The issue over the past couple of trading sessions is the price of coal; spiked 30% overnight and is back at the highs. Keen to get back in here as do think there will be great value particuarly in terms of buying the ongoing revenue stream for divs but the price of coal needs to stabilise before I'm able to hop in. | ![]() ppvn
02/3/2022 15:11 | Solar assets has no debt attached maybe your right about management would of thought buybacks by now especially at this price | bubbabubbabubba
01/3/2022 23:06 | The “solar asset base” isn’t worth £15m. It’s leveraged and part owned. Equity might be worth couple £m. The trouble with your searing analysis is no institution will buy shares in coal, esp a company poorly run, with a woeful track record and lousy governance, and where you are in a distant minority. You are entirely beholden to Gupta and his whims. I might, as a traded entity, give you two maybe three x EBITDA for it. Maybe 20p, something like that. | ![]() andycapp1
01/3/2022 09:36 | But if you're an energy company in India with constant supply to cheap coal surely you would by opg outright its make £20 million a year at peakYou would be raking in cash if coal goes under $60It also has a solar asset base worth £15 million half the market cap that will be liquid cash when sold It's crazy though the fundamentals get better every year rather than worse but the share price going lowerThis company proves how inefficient the market is The company will be producing pure cash from Q2 2024 the Indian government aren't going to allow blackouts they will step in if coal prices remain high or they will raise the tarriff In the mean time I will continue to buy more as long as the share price undervalues the company | bubbabubbabubba
26/2/2022 00:41 | The company is not worth £100EV!! You might put the cashflows as a listed entity on 3-4x. Knock off debt and the equity might be worth 30p, something like that. But the CEO is useless and the NEDs impotent. Look it’s cheap but it ain’t going up unless the ever useless Gupta takes it private. | ![]() andycapp1 |
