Well WINS has now gone to 6.3pI will wait for WINS and other MMs to move off 6.5p before adding more here now Not sure MMs are collecting these who someone is taking all the sells off the books . If they are then we will have an overhang a bit longer Maybe will be used for the buybacks

The 300k at 7.08p will be a worked sale from this morning buys with Wins.

Gone way past the point of River and Mercantile being the only seller in my book.

Perhaps I had misinformation on how many they had and it is them.

The beauty of the latest sales is that if it is a bigger holder they have clearly dropped through a 1% threshold and will have to declare.

The company buys forward a proportion of its annual coal consumption to provide greater certainty on costs and margins. In the year to March 2022 it then sold £7.3mn of coal, presumably because the hike in coal prices made it more profitable to sell its coal reserves than convert them into electricity. This year its Plant Load Factor was just 28.6% in the five months to end August. I’m hoping that the low PLF reflects strong trading profits from further coal sales after prices spiked much higher after March. Cashflow might then be better than expected.

Surely fair value should be at least treble the current price, given a disposal of £13 mil is coming along with buy backs commencing.

Longer term perhaps higher, it's a crazy market where some stocks have crazy over valuations and many under.

Yep, and a 500k delayed buy.

So my money is on that pension fund selling as well. The River fund would be long out of this now.

Pension would have to notify the market now if true of them going under 3% if so

Thing is the other MMs are on 6.5p as well , actually with wider spreads between bid/ask than WINS Not clear which MM has the stock , Not always obvious as you think .Need another MM to move to the bid to make it more interesting

Just made me think they were out but somebody has bought 175k at the bell and Wins are still not budging

Weird there was no big sale yesterday especially after all that buying.

If the top 3 holders are not selling then this should move today because nobody else holds enough stock to supply the mm's.

Many II’s won’t invest in coal nowadays, whatever the fundamentals. It’s possible that the buy back policy is being implemented to clear such a seller, maybe at an agreed price. That would be great if it were true, as after the buy back the company’s NAV per share would increase significantly.

Far as I'm concerned here I'd prefer the seller to be down to their last dregs but if it is a bigger seller OPG themselves will clear it with buybacks when they get the vote next week.

Dave Like to see other MMs move up from 6.5p . AGM on Tuesday next week Markets , bonds and gilts have come back down to levels before disastrous mini budget . So looking much better for risks related to pensions Sunak is the right man at this time

550k bought in big chunks, if this continues and Wins does not clear then it could well be that Pension Fund who is selling.

Cenkos seems to be taking some of the action too so not all buys goes to Wins

Some interest kicking in atm, might test the theory there is little stock left from the overhang, or maybe lots if no movement

I looked at my HL account and the first time I bought this stock I paid 69p about 6-7 years ago.

Mental stocks can trade at PER's of 1 when loss making rubbish is being chased to the moon everywhere.

I'll add it to monitor tim thanks, need more cash :-))
