Also If you read the 6 month report all debts are backed by gupta himself so if the company does hit hard times gupta will personal pay off the debtsAlso inventories are pledged against the debts which means imoThe balance sheet looks strongI also think premier selling is due to opg being in the renewable energy fund and opg doesnt have any renewable assets anymore (well up for sale atleast) rather than the coal price it just hurried proceedingsJust hope we have hit bottom especially with coal prices decreasing but may go lower as premier continues to liquidate there postionsFair value is still around 30p a share imo

Yes it looks Indonesian coal has peaked down 11% just hope it keeps going down

Well for better or worse I've got involved here - newcastle coal spot dipped 10% today and whilst I'm sure there are still a lot of reservations about the dirty stuff OPG now looking too tempting to pass.

Indonesian coal seems to lag Newcastle so whilst think whilst the Indonesian will continue to rise here for a while, in the more medium term might see a moderation in price. Famous last words

Impossible to know but operating income for fy21 is higher than market cap if this hits 5pWhich is ludicrous also long as we stay liquid we should be fineRefinancing could be an option via NCD again Might have to delay payments to suppliers

Everytime I refresh the price seems to drop a little.

It has mate unfortunately look at April May June futuresI think they will only buy Indian coal anywayNot worth it with the freight and coal costsThey said 20% Indian coal in 3Q update but wouldn't be surprised if that's higherRussian coal is a possibility but don't really want them to fund a war

If I had enough money and shares I'd make them sell the power plant and use the money on renewables wind solar hydrogenAnd well that might happen if coal prices remainLast time coal went this high they didn't bother importing more coal so I wouldn't be surprised if they went this routeSo I'm expecting a steep drop in revenues for year end not ideal

Tarrif raise is the only option to mitigate across increase in coal priceThere model is a weird one cos they avoid going directly via tangedco completelyBut Straight to customersWe should be fine but the coal situation is definitely something to look at before buying more shares Hopeful we get a year end update in April or May

coal price still rising like everything else atm crazy levels.

Also the narrative that solar is cheaper is not true in tamil naduSolar tarrifs are still hitting Rs 7 per unit

Expect it to go lower but still confidence especially when tarrifs reset which will be sooner than laterThey have 3 year power agreement ending this year and next, they also have industrial customers rather than retail

I invested in OPG a few years back when it was 20p odd. Escaped with my shirt after small loss after meeting Gupta. I though he was useless and sold. So I don’t have shares and no price would persuade me to.
