03/10/2018 11:42 | mm's seem keen to push it higher on any small buys. Wish they would do that on all of my stocks | dave4545
03/10/2018 11:10 | Afraid I'll pass on the AGM, think the outcome should be fairly easy to predict! I am wondering though if a holdings RNS will drop in. With the two big trades yesterday totalling almost 5mm shares it's over 1% of the company. Unless it's someone new buying I'd expect an RNS, or they might still be working on the order. | ppvn
03/10/2018 08:49 | RNS Number: 7486C, 2 October 2018 Notice of Annual General Meeting OPG Power Ventures Plc (AIM: OPG), is pleased to announce that its Annual General Meeting will be held at 11.30 am on 23 October 2018 at IOMA House, Hope Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 1AP and notice of this meeting has been sent to shareholders. So who's going to the Isle of Man? | turbocharge
02/10/2018 18:23 | Previous experience with OPG has made my legs wobbly, otherwise I might have considered topping up - will probably look back in hindsight and wish I had. | turbocharge
02/10/2018 17:50 | I see the delayed trades now, thanks for highlighting. I assume them to be purchases; as I say this company is now imo far better than it was. Potential upside more limited than before divesting Gujarat but should rerate because they aren't throwing good money after bad anymore. Thought we'd need to see some results filter through in 6 months time to be honest but appears some may be getting in early too. | ppvn
02/10/2018 17:46 | Serious volume now | dave4545
02/10/2018 17:09 | Another great day and nice large buy at highs of the day. | dave4545
02/10/2018 12:19 | One thing is certain, no CFO splashes out £90k without good reason. The 64,000 dollar question is, other than him believing he is going to make a handsome profit, what was the reason behind him thinking this. | azalea
02/10/2018 11:43 | Hi Dave4545, I was actually saying that back in December when directors last purchased there was a positive impact on the share price - but then the gains were subsequently given back. This time I'm hopeful, like you, that the rise will be bigger but also sustainable (since Chennai in particular is a good asset). Apologies if this wasn't articulated clearly. As a standalone Chennai should be worth much more than Chennai and Gujarat since they never managed to sort out the problems with the latter. FV on Chennai should be much higher than the share price has been in recent times and with debts being repaid could release quite a bit of upside that has been suppressed, in my view. | ppvn
02/10/2018 11:32 | Look forward to getting back to 17p when I break even, hope 'fingers crossed in time patience will be rewarded' is an accurate premonition. | turbocharge
02/10/2018 11:17 | PPVN He only held 100k prior to yesterday purchase so I'm not surprised the price did not react the last time. The fact that he has increased his holding 10 fold means there should be more sustainability to the price at least recovering to the resistance level of around 15-16p which would be a 50% return from the low of 10p offer recently | dave4545
02/10/2018 11:11 | It did accelerate the progress, but then it also had that effect back when he last bought. Hoping this time that the financials (now 6 monthly) will actually back up the "price rise" - think it could go further with this move. Mkt cap here still under the annual revenue and p/b laughable; I've got a bit of patience and happy to be here so fingers crossed in time patience will be rewarded. The money pit has at least been filled! | ppvn
02/10/2018 11:05 | That director buy has certainly changed the direction of the shares. Guessing 16p in time is the gap up target to resistance price on chart. | dave4545
02/10/2018 10:05 | Appreciate it has been a painful journey for anyone holding these for any amount of time but I'm personally feeling pretty positive since they "kitchen sinked" Gujarat. Bit of a different prospect now but assuming Chennai continues performing, the cost of coal continues to track lower, the p/e and p/b here should materially improve. Obviously upside somewhat more limited with only one coal facility (and not sure what impact that will have on their *ahem* shipping side of the business) but looks exceptionally cheap where we currently stand. Good luck to those here, hope this marks a turning point for OPGs fortunes. | ppvn
01/10/2018 14:43 | What a monitor spread 11.1-11.15p 11.105-11.132p online even tighter, almost 0% | dave4545
01/10/2018 14:00 | Some people are selling the same level where a director has increased his stake 10 fold albeit from a low level of 100k to 1 mil but that's still a good wedge of money. | dave4545
01/10/2018 13:53 | dave 4545 Thank you. A very interesting move, which could not have been made on a whim. | azalea

30/9/2018 01:22 | They don’t have an exec chair dolt. They have a non exec chair and a useless idiot for a CEO. | andycapp1
29/9/2018 10:37 | Para 3((coal prices) of the Exec Chair's statement, makes very positive reading. | azalea
28/9/2018 14:16 | I bought in here post drop. Is it just me or have they upped the buyback permissions to 15% for approval at the AGM? Previously been 10% with more caveats but not exercised before. | ppvn |
