20/6/2018 11:59 | Not an expert on this but from the latest trading update "Gujarat Distribution Companies of the State Electricity Utility ("DISCOMs") no longer levying cross-subsidies to our customers; £7m of dues already recovered by the Group; and, Strategic review of Gujarat plant underway following successful resolution of group captive status with DISCOMs; 5% equity interest in OPGS Gujarat ("OPGG") sold;". Does this mean the group captive status is resolved? | jinvest1
20/6/2018 10:40 | It is a mess. Captive plant status is still up in the air for prior years, it doesn't cover its cost of debt and so OPG has opened up a process with the banks over its future. The banks don't want it and so they will all reach some sort of messy compromise where hopefully OPG will retain some economic interest. If that isn't a mess I don't know what is! | andycapp1
20/6/2018 10:01 | Gujarat is not a mess. The issue is the current input costs ie coal | john09
20/6/2018 09:45 | Dunno what eps will be but minus something. They don’t generate positive earnings with coal at this price and Gujarat in a mess. | andycapp1
20/6/2018 08:14 | Aware of the dividend already, so what’s the eps ? | john09
20/6/2018 07:52 | That’s wrong! Earnings will be negative and no divi. Anyhow it’s not really an earnings play it’s all about cash. | andycapp1
20/6/2018 05:17 | Could go either way short term this one. Current PE of 5.7 if digital look is to be believed we are expecting eps of 3.3p | john09
18/6/2018 16:39 | I know. They need to sort out Gujarat and resume dividends. But it is v cheap! | andycapp1
18/6/2018 16:16 | True, see KOOVS today these bombed out Indian stocks can move | john09
18/6/2018 15:52 | Not a very promising start! | andycapp1
17/6/2018 12:02 | Hoping for another good week ahead here | john09

14/6/2018 08:11 | Out of the traps this morning and buys approaching full offer and stock size available dropping. I'd be happy with 22-25p this time around | dave4545
14/6/2018 05:46 | Morningstar records the two rns relating to the two funds purchases, but has not updated the listing of major shareholders. Does anyone have an update of holders and their holdings? I think there is more to these two purchases than meets the eye. Who are the discretionary clients? As ali47fish asks( post 4311)why are these purchases being made now? | azalea |
