I used idealing for a 3000 limit buy at 50p as that was the nms. Could not get a price online but they are very good at handling limit orders no matter how small.

I can get shares now, but I was trying yesterday and this morning and they wouldn't offer me any at any price. I'm assuming the 3500 that went through today were buys, but even if they were sells, where have they suddenly discovered all the stock on offer now, and why wouldn't they offer me any before? AIUI they're obliged to buy or sell up to 3000 at their quoted price. It looks to me as though they were asleep on the job.

They've finally woken up and found some shares. I don't know why they couldn't let me have some of those 3500 yesterday.

Zangdook I found the same thing today as well.
Easy to sell 25000 but none to buy. Maybe Cantor has sold all the stock he had from last year?
The Budget may be good news as well given a bit of help for builders, the North, Freeports, and the capital expenditure against tax. They do seem to have been left behind.
Oxman might be right they could spike big.

Can't even buy 1,000. NMS is supposed to be 3,000. What are Cantor Fitzgerald up to?

I think you have a point. If you look at the volume’s since Feb 16 when I think Wins bought 150000 at 45.5 its been about 250000 net of purchases.
If Wins was short of 25000 then he must be about level now. This should also mean that Cantors who has had a book full since last year has also sold some if not all his. Given that this time last year the stock was at 74 it seems to have been left behind in the rally.

Castleford Tiger did you ever buy that 100000 you told us about or was that your 100000 at 42.25?

Not sure why you think this should create another overhang. I know they were sold at a decent discount to the market price but why would anyone want to flip them and who would buy at a higher price?

I think it is good news that the overhang is cleared and now any good news on trading should be reflected in a move upwards without Jennings selling in to it imo.

Looking out for another rns to see if any existing notifiable holders took them.

So Jennings is out at 42p, and his last lot was sold on to three other people at 42.25p within a few minutes. A quick 2 grand for the MMs. It's possible this will just create another overhang, depending who bought and why.

I wish they'd told me, I would have taken some.

It could have gone the other way, with all that government money sloshing about and all hospitality and leisure shut, what can they do? Bring forward that much needed refit they were planning.

Maybe now there is a bit more confidence in the next 12 months, businesses will be a bit less focussed on preserving cash and focussed on the future?

A solid set of results given the circumstances. The only real problem is H Peel with its main focus having been leisure and hospitality fit out. "The management team at H Peel continue to make every effort to explore new markets...."

Everything should be back to normal by next summer.
