30/10/2020 15:57 | Castleford That should be easy send your broker to Cantors he has a book full of them, and Jennings is a seller of plenty it seems! | aimwinner
30/10/2020 15:40 | I have been buying a stake and I am looking to buy up to 100k shares. A trading statement was due today and tbf its poor that they have failed to do so tiger | castleford tiger
30/10/2020 11:51 | eggbaconandbubble Yes I do mean plant, property equipment etc, they have some but its on the balance sheet at £3.2M so the intangibles is way bigger. | aimwinner
30/10/2020 09:30 | yes , i am intrigued too that they look to have missed their end of month deadline. cant see any accounting issues etc.. that would take extra time to resolve. i wonder if it is connected into US time difference? All IMHO, DYOR + BoL NTBR is in my portfolio | thirty fifty twenty
30/10/2020 09:19 | Aimwinner, When you say 'hard assets', do you mean plant and equipment? | eggbaconandbubble
30/10/2020 09:17 | You're right. Well spotted and no they haven't. Tomorrow???? Seems unlikely :-) | eggbaconandbubble
30/10/2020 09:14 | No, and they're good about always putting them out at 7am, too. | zangdook
30/10/2020 07:55 | In its Trading Update 18 August the Board promised a further trading update in October. Have I missed it????? | jaf111
28/10/2020 17:49 | The thing I can’t find is much in the way of hard assets! The biggest item on the balance sheet is Intangible assets at £21M. According to the notes thats the goodwill in the subsidiaries. I will continue my search, but one positive is that now that Jennings has gone, they will save his £183k salary, nice work if you can get it!! That £183k is 1p per share so with my newfound £200 I am off to the pub! | aimwinner
26/10/2020 13:23 | Look forward to hearing anything you find! | eggbaconandbubble
25/10/2020 22:26 | eggbaconandbubble I need to do more work to see if there is some value in this company I have not spotted, and others have. It seems well run and the report and accounts always seem clear and well-presented which should make my task easier I hope. | aimwinner
25/10/2020 15:23 | Aimwinner, my short answer is, I wouldn't know! I just have an inkling of a feeling in my waters, as they say! I do agree with sbs that NTBR is a well run company and there is plenty of work around for them. It might get taken out on the cheap but certainly at a higher price than current. | eggbaconandbubble
24/10/2020 20:20 | sbs I am not so sure that Jennings did not sell 50000 at 51 on the 16th, if so he just be dribbling them out which will put a brake on the share price or it could be there is no big buyer. If he uses an execution only broker, they won’t have the contacts to make a buyer and may just keep selling them into the market which could be what he is doing. | aimwinner
24/10/2020 20:08 | eggbaconandbubble Do you think they are working together and if so, what is their game plan, is it to buy the company on the cheap? If it is then why have they not bought the Jennings stock? | aimwinner
24/10/2020 09:17 | If he wants to sell a chunk, his broker can find a buyer.Meanwhile business is well run and the need for building work is relentless. | sbs
20/10/2020 12:30 | I am not sure either what the game plan is here but if Jennings is a seller, then I don’t expect the share price to go anywhere for a while. I have looked again at the trades and still think that the Market makers have these on the book. I can’t see that Jennings has sold any more but that may be because there is no buyer! | aimwinner
20/10/2020 10:18 | If he's not just topping up because it's cheap, perhaps he knows something about Baryshnik. I never figured his game out, either. | zangdook
20/10/2020 10:06 | Well whatever Beaumont-Dark had more than doubled his stake since 30 June 2019.... Trading update due before end of month | jaf111
20/10/2020 09:59 | Taking advantage of the low price? Jennings off loading more? | this_is_me
20/10/2020 09:46 | Beaumont Dark topping up. Something is going on here but I cant quite get my head around it. Suggestions, answers or links to further info. Anyone? | eggbaconandbubble
16/10/2020 16:23 | The market makers must be long, look how fast they called them up after selling 10000. I bet they have not called Jennings asking for some more yet, only 1.276M to go!! | aimwinner
16/10/2020 09:48 | Baryshnik doesn't seem to be interested, though his 72p tender offer got him several hundred thousand shares less than he wanted. | zangdook
15/10/2020 19:49 | So Jennings dropped 60k. on Monday, according to the RNS; Tuesday according to the trades data, leaving him with 1,276,260. That should be his Christmas spending sorted (kill the turkey and invite 30 people to the funeral!). Anyone got a spare £700k to mop up the rest? | this_is_me |
