28/12/2017 09:20 | Result."...given the uncertainty around the Company's ability to refinance ...........or repay the CBA Loan principal loan balance of $21.25 million when it falls due on 1 June 2018."-So we leave a very dark period for oil, now with six months more to sort something out. If only!!..there was someone who had recently left the Board who could help? The CBA must have all the financial figures, and they have now decided that this was the best way forward for them. Result.Excellent result in the circumstances - just need Rick now, to keep this all under control....as a good 'CEO of the year for a Mid-size Co.' should do.Let's hope it's a good one. Without any fear. | rockin robin
28/12/2017 09:17 | It is - 1000 shares available at 0.30p - Clearly MMs don't want to give much at these levels - | tomboyb
28/12/2017 08:42 | I'm taking this as very positive news for hawk. Extension of banking facilities after this terrible performance is very positive. There may be something else in the pipeline hence the bank agree to extend. | balbains324
28/12/2017 08:39 | Basically that's good and very welcome news. CBA don't have many other options however ... at the end of the day they want their $21m back. Winding Hawk up doesn't achieve that. The significant rise in the oil price must be giving Hawk a welcome boost. | mallorca 9
28/12/2017 07:50 | No extra funds to tap into for drilling etc | philmac56
28/12/2017 07:21 | A bit of breathing space...so will Cogcc update soon? | philmac56
28/12/2017 07:20 | Surely they must know WF will work, otherwise why not just shut up shop?? | blakieboy7
28/12/2017 07:17 | That will do Rick!! Keep kicking the can | blakieboy7
28/12/2017 07:16 | Well 6 months is helpful however its always basic with rick. no comments on current production or success or water flood | reallyrich
27/12/2017 20:06 | well all, i did get a reply to my email to cogcc...none of my questions were answered, but passed on to someone else to form a reply...which i wait for.. In the meantime No RNS from RICK No update of Cogcc...are they linked to next RNS!!!! | philmac56
27/12/2017 11:49 | For this reason I would like to see Rns here that they have submitted additional information to CBA and now only waiting for their decision. | marmar80
27/12/2017 10:53 | Oil is nearly $60 and we are dropping on no news and very little volume. Come on Rick, pull your finger out and put me out of my misery. | balbains324
22/12/2017 14:12 | Oil Discoveries At Lowest Point Since The 1940sBy Nick Cunningham - Dec 21, 2017, 4:00 PM CSTThe oil industry discovered the least amount of oil in 2017 in almost eight decades, breaking the previous record low set in 2016.The global oil industry has discovered less than seven billion barrels of oil equivalent so far this year-a drop-off from the 8 billion boe discovered last year. Last year's total was the lowest since the 1940s. The 2017 figure is down by more than half from the 15 billion boe discovered in 2014-2015, and down sharply from the 30 billion boe discovered in 2012. | rockin robin
21/12/2017 16:46 | Surely the markets need to be told by 31st Dec...date set by CBA! | philmac56
21/12/2017 16:38 | I decided to email Cogcc to see why the delay again this month with production data. Queried if Hawk are slow sending in figures and why data is approx 6 wks old.... See if I get a positive response! | philmac56
21/12/2017 16:32 | I'm still pretty sure Hawk will continue in 2018... & they are going to survive somehow or other (the exact details I obviously don't know...but..). I also see JC's retirement from the Board as being massively significant & linked to him somehow offering finance to Hawk in the future, as clearly eluded to, in the last comment in the appropriate RNS (why else would particular action taken ever have taken place??). Hawk is approximately $6M better off in income since recent oil lows - mid year 2017, & that's significant. So, at some point (March yearly report for sure) that info' will hit the Mkt, and hopefully make a big impression. Anyway, more info please, if anyone from the Hawk BOD reads this, ..& finally....finally.. | rockin robin
21/12/2017 15:41 | Thanks to all who contribute to the board and to you Phil for keeping me updated with production figures. Have a good Christmas and let's hope the new year brings us a bit of good fortune. | balbains324
21/12/2017 10:05 | Rmart... been in Hawk toooo long toooo care now!!! | philmac56
21/12/2017 09:33 | lol, its just typical AIM though. No thought for PI's. Merry Christmas ! :( | rmart
21/12/2017 09:29 | Rmart... Lol...rant over??? | philmac56
21/12/2017 06:50 | To all my fellow Nighthawks be that LTH or new recruits, BOD, & workers. It certainly looks like Rick not only has control of Hawk, but also Cogcc....an overdue update with regards October production figures. I probably like many more had hoped for an RNS before Christmas to inform us funding was now in place to take us into 2018 with a bright future, no more kicking the can down the road. Still time!!! Well, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and hopefully a Prosperous New Year. | philmac56
19/12/2017 21:07 | I like this paragraph.... "I like the energy side of that bet. And, it's a hard one because tech is going straight north," Paulsen said. "By our estimates, crude oil stocks are now about 32 percent undervalued — the deepest they've been in this recovery relative to the price of crude oil. And, if you change that dynamic a little bit, there could be a lot of funds coming from high-growth, high-momentum technology back into the under-owned energy sector." | philmac56
19/12/2017 13:55 | Just looking at the Hawk half year report from Sept 2017 to ey June 2017.HAWK's Oil was being sold at $33.73 H1 2016.....& $46.95 H1 2017.H2 should be in $51-$53 range, I would guess - as an average now. - with that average improving everyday too..as oil is now at 57+Do Hawks celebrate Xmas?Their ey finishes eo Dec 2017. Mid to late March should see the their Yearly report out.Hopefully there should be some Corporate updates before that though.. | rockin robin |
