But that won't really help us a great deal as we just can't kick start a Marked increase in production from Any means!!!

From what I can gather Phil.Between three or four of us here. We probably own about 1% of Hawk stock.Taking those numbers & including Johan C's 16% plus PG's (?) 10% & looking at the massive recent sell out by most Hawk holders. I reckon there won't be more than 150-250(?) people that still hold Hawk stock. And they all probably believe that Hawk is going to make it.That ain't a lot. HNY.

Taxes...Trump has helped.
Costs...Rick has managed some.
Rick & Co needed to be on performance related pay.
I hope that doesn't come into effect from 2018...could be a bounty yr for us.

This RNS extends what we have arranged quite nicely - if I recall it is at a rate of 6% above LIBOR which is quite a remarkable deal given the perceived risk - it is quite normal for companies who have borrowings not to be able to repay these borrowings "on demand" as the borrowings are usually invested in non-liquid assets, in this case production which is not where it was forecast to be as the water flood is not working as fast as was forecast - this is the latest in a line of "bad calls" which is domain of the Geo team and nothing to do with the management of the business - to state the obvious we either have to
(a)Get the water flood to work as forecast OR
(b) Get a farm out/in deal
(c) Get more stable financing in place to allow as to resume drilling

The oil price is helping us but that aside everything else is just chaff in the wind.

Phil,Ok. I just went back four and got spooked. They must use a broker who vets anything and probably cleanses anything and adds or subtracts their points made, appropriately. If you're v bored-What's the ratio behind a subsequent RNS and the phrase being used/not used in days?1st Nov Farm out not used.7th Nov Director change not used.22th Nov Resource Update not used.28th Nov Production update not used.

26 Jan...other data, including total production figures, remain unchanged. The full text of the corrected announcement is shown below:....did we get an update!!!

2 May...A full production update will be provided in due course. Updated 31 May!!

3 July....The Company is negotiating the deferral of the interest and royalty payments with existing loan note holders. A further announcement will be made in due course.

3 Oct....Further announcements will be made in due course.

25 Oct... A further announcement will be made in due course.

Edit. Just for completeness...and just to illustrate the recent change to a positive (?) tone...The other most recent RNS was.. disclosing that Hawk had engaged an iCompany calculating an increase to the WF Pilot project reserves at a larger 354 mbbls than previously stated.The other interesting thing from today's RNS it stated.'Further announcements will be made in due course.'I have just checked and that comment isn't made on any other of the recent RNSs. Spooky!
