17/2/2010 07:56 | Has anyone any idea what the current R&D expenses are? The notes in the accounts (see below) imply nearly all the R&D expense last year was on NPL 2008. Since this has ceased until funding secured is current R&D expenditure likely to be a nominal amount currently? The company should update the current cash position IMO. Research and development expenses were £3.5 million this year (2008: £3.0 million), of which £3.2 million was in respect of our lead programme NPL-2008 (2008: £2.4 million) and within this £1.9 million was attributable to SOFIA, £0.6 million to EMMA, £0.3 million to bioequivalence studies, £0.3 million to regulatory work and £0.1 million to other consultancy. | hugepants
16/2/2010 23:31 | Thank you for your message to Neuropharm in connection with the company's share price. Finally a response to my e-mail i know it does not say much but better than nothing? "As you know, Neuropharm is in an offer period, which limits the company's ability to provide commentary to the market. However, rest assured that if there had been a material change to the company's situation compared with its most recent announcement, entitled Continuing Discussions and issued on 8th December, then a further announcement would have been made." | warwick69
16/2/2010 16:02 | Over 3 months since last rns and they have truly not helped with shareholder value but probably working instead to get a deal where they are better off at our expense !! | joeblogg2

16/2/2010 15:42 | If more investors called the company and asked for some news surely they would have to make some comments to the market as to where they are with discussions? If the share price had risen the same percentage as it had fallen since discussions I bet they would have had to comment | warwick69

15/2/2010 09:52 | " Possible Offer RNS Number : 8148B Neuropharm Group PLC 03 November 2009 Neuropharm Group plc (AIM: NPH), a speciality pharmaceutical company focused on neurodevelopmental disorders, today announces that it is in discussions which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the Company. The Company further confirms that it is seeking a sale or merger of the Company in order that the value of its pipeline can be maximised. Piper Jaffray Ltd. has been appointed to advise the Company in connection with this process. Following the announcement of its preliminary results Neuropham has had discussions with its major shareholders to explore the options available to the Company to realise the maximum value of its pipeline. As a result of these discussions, and the prevailing market conditions, the Board of Neuropharm has concluded that shareholder value is more likely to be maximised through seeking a sale or merger partner which will be better placed to fund the Company's clinical development portfolio. " I don`t see any mention of fund raising ? Where has all the money gone ? | boobly |
