Has anyone any idea what the current R&D expenses are? The notes in the accounts (see below) imply nearly all the R&D expense last year was on NPL 2008. Since this has ceased until funding secured is current R&D expenditure likely to be a nominal amount currently? The company should update the current cash position IMO.

Research and development expenses were £3.5 million this year (2008: £3.0 million), of which £3.2 million was in respect of our lead programme NPL-2008 (2008: £2.4 million) and within this £1.9 million was attributable to SOFIA, £0.6 million to EMMA, £0.3 million to bioequivalence studies, £0.3 million to regulatory work and £0.1 million to other consultancy.

"As you know, Neuropharm is in an offer period, which limits the company's ability to provide commentary to the market.


However, rest assured that if there had been a material change to the company's situation compared with its most recent announcement, entitled Continuing Discussions and issued on 8th December, then a further announcement would have been made."

Over 3 months since last rns and they have truly not helped with shareholder value but probably working instead to get a deal where they are better off at our expense !!

If more investors called the company and asked for some news surely they would have to make some comments to the market as to where they are with discussions? If the share price had risen the same percentage as it had fallen since discussions I bet they would have had to comment

Call me double stupid if you like, but i bought another 10,000 at 8p this morning and it pushed up the share price LOL

It seems every 10,000 buy increases the share price quickly.

Just look at the graph, Thats downhill all the way, thats not a sign of a company doing well is it now!!!!!

Trouble is in store here, me thinks.
