Piper have disappeared it would seem. What can you read into that? Puts the share price up a shade which makes it look better!

G2AM ... nice correction at the bottom of the e-mail :-) Or was that how they signed off the e-mail ? ;-)

It is easy to hide behind regulations but when the companies actions bring in to question whether they are following the regulations it can't be ignored.

I still can not see how a broker appointed to handle a sale can then deal in the shares during this period. The addition of the fact it has been shorted and then even more heavily shorted after a 50% drop is criminal IMHO

I got exactly the same answer, also tried telephone yesterday and completly non comital on response. Very poor investor relations

its a hell of a good name you have there ihavenoclue ,pip keep playing with there short position share price stays below the 10p mark ,then we have a bid in the 15p to 20p range ,a big premium to current share price ,short term holders very happy long term holders just glad to see the back of there investment in nph at a reasonble price based on there current position ,game over and move on

NPH has no debt and under take over - Also they have addtional cash - Surely this is too cheap and share price is lower than the value it self. Pocketed some more.

Instead of seeking a cure for autism , `selective mutism` would have been more appropriate .

Possible Offer

Neuropharm Group plc (AIM: NPH), a speciality pharmaceutical company focused on
neurodevelopmental disorders, today announces that it is in discussions which
may or may not lead to an offer being made for the Company. The Company further
confirms that it is seeking a sale or merger of the Company in order that the
value of its pipeline can be maximised. Piper Jaffray Ltd. has been appointed to advise the Company in connection with this process.

Following the announcement of its preliminary results Neuropham has had
discussions with its major shareholders to explore the options available to the
Company to realise the maximum value of its pipeline. As a result of these
discussions, and the prevailing market conditions, the Board of Neuropharm has
concluded that shareholder value is more likely to be maximised through seeking
a sale or merger partner which will be better placed to fund the Company's
clinical development portfolio.

iantc ... perhaps you don't understand then ... the very broker who is supposed to be handling the sale is actively shorting the company and has seen the share price drop by more than 50% after news of a "possible offer"

If you think that is acceptable then I pity you

and tell us how they`ve protected shareholder value ?

What the HELL do the major shareholders think of all this, are they complicit ?

What worries me is that Piper, who are short of 66k, didn't even take the 88k just sold on plus. They must think they can get them cheaper. Nasty smell!

From what I see , and I don`t see anything in the pipeline , someone bought
66221 shares this morning , and we go down !

How long have this bunch of F`...s from Fetcham been `Talking` now ?

Down again ... it stunk to high heaven when, after shorting about 60k from 18p down to 11p for them to all be cancelled to then open more shorts to the amount of 84k from 10p

imho long term holders are stuffed but recent holders may gain a 50 to 100%return on there investment

iantc .. seen as it is half of what it was when a possible offer was announced I would say they have looked after themselves and to hell with the shareholders
