Given the trade sizes likely just traders taking their few percent and moving on to the next one, some will wait for news of course.

Amazing how it goes from all buys to all sells in the space of 45 mins lol....Are there really that many stale bulls about who get all excited seeing a 4 at the start of the price?

Or maybe brokers have been ringing round trying to find them :)

Yes looking like it's getting rather tight out there and likely going to get tighter towards news.

Ncondezi Energy is focused on the phased development of its large scale, long life, integrated thermal coal mine and up to 1,800MW power plant project in Mozambique. Originally an export coking coal play, Ncondezi has invested significant resources in scoping the nearby 4.8bn tonne JORC compliant coal project. The mine is anticipated as being the sole supplier to the power plant. The shares are down nearly 80% over 3 months on the back of delays on closing a deal with Shanghai Electric Power (SEP). Nearly a year and a half after signing the Joint Development Agreement, Ncondezi last week announced that it had suspended exclusive discussions with SEP and will now engage with additional strategic partners who have expressed an unsolicited interest in developing the project alongside Ncondezi. · Time is of the essence for Ncondezi which has received indications of interest for an additional US$350k shareholder loan which would fund the company until 2 September. This has not as yet been finalised. Ncondezi is also actively engaging with Shareholder Loan holders to seek an acceptable funding solution ahead of loans expiring in September. · The project will require funding of circa $1bn to implement the 300MW plant and transmission line with optionality to increase capacity thereafter. · Sub Saharan Africa is woefully underpowered and the proposed site is ideally located to plug into the existing network with potential to extend supply into South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia. · This is a very advanced project and therefore has a good chance of securing high quality partners. The fact that the company has received unsolicited approaches is encouraging. A feasibility study and all technical documentation has been completed, a Power Purchase Agreement has been agreed in principle with a local utility, all relevant Social Impact and Environmental studies, land use rights and other permits are in place, the mine concession has been awarded and access to the power grid has been approved, indicating Government support. · The first 300MW stage of the power plant has been estimated to generate US$130m of EBITDA annually. Ncondezi's very existence hangs in the balance as reflected by the sub £5m market cap. Should it find a way through to financial close, even a 10% share in the project could be worth more than 10x this amount. We applaud management's decision to take back control of the project. Stimulating competition amongst potential partners may help to secure a favourable outcome for shareholders.

This means for those who can't use an abacus £50million market cap or a mere 20 pennies per share.I make that 5.5 times the current price Now that is Eye CANDY Thank you Dandy, please spread the good news TTP (LSE)

Dandy, see my previous post. The non-binding offers were due in August. There will be an update before the end of this month and binding offers are due early Q4 with the view to a signed deal before the end of the year.

You are running away with the facts again.

Dandy... nice try, but they have always been BVI registered. Appears to be the same building, just different floor and PO Box. Essentially, they have downsized from office space in the communal washroom, to the rather smaller broom-cupboard... :o)

That was an interesting RNS last night. BVI is new co HQ. I detect something big coming down the track. Have the Directors sold the business or a part of the business and want to leave the cash in a tax haven !!!

Partner Search ProcessFrom 25th Aug RNS. So all offers in before month end which was 2 weeks ago. Have they reviewed them all now and can we have an update please? As per previous guidance, the new partner process entered the second phase during the month of August 2017 with the focus on receiving non-binding offers from potential partners. This phase involved the opening up of a detailed dataroom, management presentations, and Q&A sessions with potential partners. The Company has begun receiving non-binding offers and expects to have all offers in before the end of the month.

Some speculation on finance...

Michael Haworth has (at least) 2 AIM follies. (1) NCCL - Ncondezi, (2) ZIOC - Zanaga Iron Ore. Both have to date, been investment disasters. Along with Michael Haworth, both also have investment by the Hardwick Trust. I'm guessing there is some kind of link between this trust and Haworth? Does any one recall who benefits from the Hardwick Trust? Not sure that info has ever been made public.

Anyway, currently the Hardwick Trust is dumping/reducing its ZIOC investment. If the objective is simply to raise some cash, then between ZIOC and NCCL this seems the reasonable choice (the Iron-Ore super-cycle is unlikely to return). However, what does Hardwick need the cash for?

I wonder if Hardwick is looking to join the other NCCL shareholder loans? Afterall, the potential return on the NCCL loan in the near term (1yr) is likely to be alot better than they are ever likely get out of ZIOC shares...

Yes, I think the next few months could be very exciting here. Non-binding offerS have already been received and we only need one that sticks. I wonder whether all offers and interest are for the coal to power play or whether some parties are interested to develope a stand-alone coal mine only. Not too long to wait now to get the answers.

The Company has begun receiving the non-binding offers from potential partners, which we will now look to develop into binding offers through a competitive negotiation process in early Q4 2017.Binding offer process to start in September 2017 with preferred potential partners.Next update planned for late September 2017.New partner process on track for completion in Q4 2017.The Company's objective is to identify a new partner capable of providing a leadership role in the financing, construction and operation of the power plant, with a credible track record in both the global and African power sectors. Although limited information can be shared at this time due to the competitive nature of the process, the Company has been very encouraged by what has been received to date.

Gawd- justdandy is back.

There was also an RNS on the 25th August, a snippet below:

"The Company has begun receiving the non-binding offers from potential partners, which we will now look to develop into binding offers through a competitive negotiation process in early Q4 2017".

Note that early Q4 is mentioned and not Q3.

Please keep to the facts and do not try to mislead.

The financing will be announced next before the end of the month because if we do not get that there will be no point in having finalized bids.

I would suggest when we get notification of the AGM,which is due in October, they will have an idea of the date the bids will be in, at least we will have an upbeat and informative AGM.

Lets hope the BOD get this project over the line this time.

Only a few more weeks for "binding offers" to be submitted to Ncondezi lawyers. The process is currently targeting submission of binding offers before the end of Q3 2017 with transaction close during Q4 2017.

Very exciting times ahead once again. The Board are back in full control in selecting our new partner for the JDA. Loan now extended for another 12 months so no more concerns about anyone calling in the loan. The Directors also invested $582,000 on 23rd June to "fund new partner search and to provide working capital" .Management are slowly de risking the business by investing their own cash and neg a new alliance with a new partner. All will be revealed shortly but for now the loan has been extended for 12 months so immediate pressure has been lifted to allow a deal to be finalised. That's how I read the RNS of 23rd June. Should be an exciting ride from here.
