I note that Cornford has put out another article on this Co. (he has been espousing the virtues of this Co. for several years at much, much higher prices). Anyway, his latest offering is more of the same and concludes as follows.... "NCCL’s shares offer a balance of a 4-5 fold potential profit over the coming year (albeit much later than anyone thought) in exchange for a small chance of total loss" What he fails to point out is that a four fold increase from here merely takes the price to levels at which he was suggesting it to be a stonking investment! Anyway, as indicated before, I am only in on the basis of the longer term chart, which still suggests to me there will be a significant spike at some point which will take the shares significant (but temporarily) higher, at which point I will offload. I am hoping for it to get to 6 or 7p in due course. This is not one that will yield anything over a sustained period of time.

Point accepted. Each trade is an individual trade, and thus, for instance, the concept of averaging down or up is neither here nor there - each trade concludes with either a gain or loss and not as part of a collective group of trades.

Never understood the free carry, money on paper is money, risk evolves from trade outset to completion but it is all money. If I made money trading cable a year ago I don't consider my next cable trade as a free one. But I wish you luck with your investment here and elsewhere.

No pain here - I took a punt on the chart which has paid off once when it doubled a while back - am in again for a second time, but overall it is a free carry and then some although on this occasion I am slightly down, but, as pointed out, overall significantly in profit. I have long stated that Hanno is churning out promotional guff and explained why - that continues to be the case, becoming palpably more obvious with the passage of time. As for hoping the tariff lands and the project comes to fruition, well, hope is not an investment strategy. What evidence is there to indicate the tariff is likely to be agreed, and, even if it were, the evidence does not support the probability of a project going ahead, at least not to the benefit of NCCL holders.

Yasx, I hope you get out with something, I think we can all see and feel the pain in your messages. Hopefully, tariff will land and the price will move up towards your entry.

Have you read the terms attached to the solar loans? How can that project ever sustain itself in a meaningful way? Have a read and, more importantly, have a good think thereafter.

In my mind it is a two for one. I think it will go ahead given the need for power and other options available. Solar for the future and coal now.

Look, the reality is that the Co. are themselves steering away from the main project - all indicators point that way. The recent announcements suggest that the Co. is looking to steer itself in a different direction due to a change of perception in that market - I read that as tacit acceptance of failure of the project and gentle hints that expectations ought to change accordingly. Thus we are left with the solar junk- and that is exactly what the solar outfit is - a mechanism to channel funds from NCCL and direct them to a spurious outfit linked to his brother that has negligible chance of delivering anything meaningful.

I get the frustration, 'we' both expected things to be moving a lot faster than they have been. Let's hope they pull something out the bag for us all.

All this talk on here and other forums, that somehow its the Mozambique Government dragging their heels, its like wading through treacle, dealing with them etc etc. Is way off, being anywhere near accurate. Anyone still labouring under the Illusion, that any government, anywhere, is not just a Masquerade, to keep the flock believing they have some sort of say in their affairs. Knows little. The Politicians are the cartoon characters and the Entities really calling the shots, tell them how it is. IE if "the World bank" sanctioned the transmission line monies, then POWER to this region has been granted, forget anything a Tinpot Government can pretend to kick its feet about. Its DONE. Question is, where then do these lines collect their power from? Hanno, you know I know. However The rest of your investors don't, but, if the fantasy coal plant is going to be suggested as the source. Then complete your ACT please Mr Penguin..Thanks in advance.

I do. Maybe in this case I am one of the biggest Mugs here. Re De-baiting I never argue or bait another. I just say it how I see it, wrongly or rightly. I think we got our selves shafted, you think not. Neither of us knows concretely 100%, one way or another. BUT. I see the repeated obsfucations, none interest by directors, money funnelling to their primary concerns, dressed up as beneficial to NCCL Shareholders. I see CMEC falling over with then nowhere left to go. I see more but posting here would not be appropriate.

Form of feedback:) Please. Thats been in the Fictional pipeline for eons. More tom foolery, Its submitted, 6 months later, Its Been returned, we tweaked it, six months later, its returned etc etc ad infinitum. Ie Its a Merry go round. Like the Old 80s song " You Spin me Round, Round BaBy (Hanno) right round, like a record Baby, Round, Round , Round, Round" Who cares about some FORM of FeedBack? I can give you feedback. Tariff was supposedly submitted 18 months ago, was supposedly going to be approved 6 months ago. Now The Mug NCCL investors can't wait for FEEDBACK. Meanwhile back in LA La Land the best NCCL can do is one Tweet about Coal, like somehow that means anything, other than one of the 4 Wise Men, had some work to do on Monday. Post a Tweet, then back to Bed for 6 months while still feeling entitled to draw a salary. The Flowerpot Men., Bill, Ben and to make up Numbers Tom and Jerry could make a better fist of this Shambles. Maybe we get a Tweet at Xmas about a Sunshine collecting in Africa.

Little bit presumptuous to assume Scott has stopped buying and doesn't know what he is doing. His track record is impressive and he likes Ncondezi enough to buy close to 20% of the company and bought recently. My understanding is that he is inside and unable to buy, but realistically if 20% is a very large show of faith. Separately, from my discussions I understand that the company are very close to getting some form of feed back on the tariff.

The only significant buyer of the shares over the past year has been SF - he did not understand the business, but, now that it has dawned upon him that this is a lifestyle vehicle, he too has ceased buying. This should be valued only on the basis of the solar business, which, frankly, is not worth much. It needs the promotional bandwagon to come out and drive the price temporarily higher to enable distressed investors to exit. As for the likes of Lurker who actually believe in the pie in the sky project and will hang in there waiting for the golden goose to lay the egg, well, they too will realise in due course. It takes much longer for the gullible to get it...
