08/9/2017 17:35 | I don't want him on the Kibo thread either. ;0) | daddy warbucks
08/9/2017 17:20 | Another week closer to partner update should make for an interesting RNS when it lands one way or another. | cl0ckw0rk0range
08/9/2017 17:15 | ???? WTF ???? | cl0ckw0rk0range
08/9/2017 16:57 | Sorry cl0ckw0rk, but can you keep him here for a while please. | daddy warbucks
08/9/2017 14:40 | I comment when I see postings of blatant and clear pumping and ramping with no explanation or discussion behind them such like "news next week" and "£1-£2.22" So should no one challenge these cleared attempts to ramp this? How many time will people's be spiked on the next big news that "someone" told them would be worth £1-£2.22?He share price is 3p as this is what market values at currently. No deramping no agenda just FACT | dudleym1975
04/9/2017 21:25 | Given the investment banking background of the board you can see where this is going, albeit a few months later than anticipated. | cl0ckw0rk0range
04/9/2017 20:30 | Last year`s AGM was in early October, so may be a clue as to when an update is due. They have said that there will be an update before end of Sept on additional working capital but they may time the AGM in Mid-October so that we have some news to discuss. | m1sak
04/9/2017 19:24 | Got to hand it to them, played it pretty clean for a prolonged period here - delays aside! | 123js
04/9/2017 10:14 | M1SAK agreed they won't need much more working cap and expect one of the directors or AFC to cover with addition to loan, partner deal expected to cover development costs to date I would imagine. Early Q4 update perhaps. | cl0ckw0rk0range
04/9/2017 09:54 | Just going through the formalities at the moment. Additional working capital to be sorted by end of September, so just over three weeks. This again will probaby already be covered by certain directors lending the money or some sort of tie up. Final binding bids due in the early part of Q4, so again, not long to wait. My guess is they already have an indication of who they will partner with. The process is sticking to a timetable. It will be down to the terms and conditions of the final bids. Looking good for steady progress now. | m1sak
04/9/2017 09:06 | Good, moving in the right direction then. | cl0ckw0rk0range
04/9/2017 08:18 | Nice eye watering headline spread to deter any business...dont often see all MMs offering exactly the same price | nav_mike
04/9/2017 07:46 | Yes a very positive step forward, albeit released in a rather subdued RNS :) | nav_mike
04/9/2017 07:08 | Seems like a good RNS this morning. I particularly like the following excerpt...."All other terms of the Shareholder Loan remain unchanged, including the loan return multiples, which remain fixed and generate no additional cost to the Company. The Shareholder Loan includes the Shareholder Loan referred to in the announcement of 11 May 2017 and the New Loan and Employee Shareholder Loan announced on 23 June 2017."Hopefully should see a steady increase in the share price as speculation grows on who will be the new J/v partner. | daddy warbucks
01/9/2017 07:49 | Will there be an RNS today, given that the loan repayment date is the 2nd September? The last RNS said it had been agreed in principle, but no details were given.A deal could help the share price recover. | daddy warbucks
25/8/2017 19:19 | Thank you and all the best also in you're investment. | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/8/2017 19:10 | Appreciate the reply. I hope Financial Close comes quicker than the company I am invested in. ;0)Projects such as this power plant seem to take an age to come to fruition. I hope NCCL choose a partner who will deliver on all aspects.Once a partner is named, this share should increase in value quite quickly. I am still not ready to jump in, but wish you and other shareholders here good fortune. | daddy warbucks
25/8/2017 16:57 | Hello DWThey clearly are very anti dilutive given previous funding strategy so I would imagine they will follow a similar route with the small amount of funding needed for overheads through to financial close. Any partnership deal I would also envisage would involve lump sum cash payment(s) in exchange for equity based on previous SEP deal as guidance, so whether the interest rate is 25% 50% 75% doesn't really have a great bearing given it will be repaid post FC and once partnership deal and funding is in place. In principle. | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/8/2017 16:38 | cl0ckw0rk0rangeI am not trying to knock you or your investment, but the loan extensions have only been agreed in principle. Does that mean at no extra interest or is it possible it is another 25 or 50 percent extra. | daddy warbucks
25/8/2017 16:13 | SP Angel comment Ncondezi Energy (NCCL LN) 4 pence, Mkt Cap £10m Progress report on search for strategic partnerNcondezi Energy reports that it is now receiving non-binding offers from prospective partners for the development of the planned 300MW Ncondezi coal-fired power project in Mozambique. All non-binding offers are expected to have been received by the end of the month. The company expects to move to a second phase of the process in September, when a limited number of preferred candidates will be facilitated to undertake their detailed due-diligence processes and invited to undertake detailed negotiations with a view to submitting binding offers in early Q4 2017, and "the Company expects to be in a position to accept its preferred offer before year end."Commenting on the progress achieved, Non-Executive Chairman, Michael Haworth, commented that "We are very pleased with the quality of the partners who have submitted offers to date, and believe the power project will be well positioned to finalise development, financing and initiate construction once a binding offer has been agreed."The company has also announced that the holders of loans to Ncondezi, which include board and senior staff members, have agreed, in principle, to extend their loans for a further 12 months until 2ndSeptember 2018. "This will provide the Company with time to conclude the new partner process, better develop loan repayment options and raise additional working capital by the end of September 2017."Conclusion: Ncondezi Energy expects to have selected a new partner for the development of the coal fired power plant in Mozambique before the end of 2017. Continuing support of the loan holders has been secured, in principle, and the company may look to secure additional working capital during September. | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/8/2017 16:12 | Another enlightened investor from over the road I see. Very informative post there. How's the licences coming along? Now do one Matt. | cl0ckw0rk0range

25/8/2017 11:28 | This article relates to Indonesia, which unlike Mozambique, does not suffer from a bankrupt Government. Nevertheless, the description of 'Government Decrees' for the state utility PLN and IPP projects, may shed some light on what the NCCL BoD evidently expect (RNS 9471A) to happen in Moz... Seems this link asks me for a login now. I originally found it via a Google search and didn't need a login to read it... | katylied
25/8/2017 11:17 | I think that perhaps their institutional investor who holds c22% of shares and are happy to extend the loan repayment for a further 12 months based on the quality of the partners they are receiving bids from are better placed than most to determine whether they can find funding for this project to financial close - in the whole scheme of things overheads are trivial until financial close, a whip around would likely suffice until then. | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/8/2017 10:39 | Taken from their last update......The Company expects more attractive repayment options to become available once the new partner process has been completed.Assuming that the Shareholder Loans' repayment date can be extended, the Company will have sufficient funding in place to cover its working capital commitments until the end of September 2017.The shareholder loan extension is being negotiated but the terms are not known as yet. Will the new partner process be completed by the end of September with a payment being made or will the company need to raise finance.I think the uncertainty is what has resulted in the initial enthusiasm to wane.I am waiting at the moment before I commit here. | daddy warbucks |
