25/8/2017 10:34 | lol! priceless... | katylied
25/8/2017 10:23 | Thank you clockwork and I think you're likely correct. | novicetrade68
25/8/2017 10:20 | NT I wouldn't even bother engaging with this one, agenda driven clear as day, there's bearish and then there's just bashing, pops up regular and excuse the pun, as clockwork when there's anything even remotely connected to the company no matter how tenuous, always talking down any decent updates but then admits to trading it. "Whatever" | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/8/2017 10:04 | Whatever... | katylied
25/8/2017 09:59 | The 'issue' about the Decree is just speculation whether that is still a requirement, in the end it could also have been a muse by SEP to stall and quietly pull-out of the deal. I don't think anybody can be sure about that requirement at this point moving forward. Surely new developers will be aware, yet it hasn't stopped them submitting non-binding offers. The issue with the 5-15-30-60 minute bulls is not in my head as it is clear to see if you simply go through the trades so far. The good thing is, that it allows investors with a hopefully longer time frame to a lower entry price. | novicetrade68
25/8/2017 09:46 | Novice, that is all in your head, just a self-serving narrative. Now, lets move on. The company have bought some time. 12 months is probably more than most expected. Next up (1) funding and (2) JV partner. Novice says they won't need much funding in the short term, 'cos outgoings are small. If you think back to SEP, the last prediction for concluding the JV was Q1 2018 (short-term) and that would have brought in substantial new finance. Key to that, was an RNS 9471A which referred repeatedly to a 'Government Decree'. Has anyone actually understood what that was all about? If so, please explain. My best guess, is that it is a way to get around the inability of EDM to meet credit requirements for an offtake deal. The absence of that deal was preventing the conclusion of the SEP JV, yet after this 'Decree', apparently that deal is enabled. So the time frame for 'significant' movement (new finance) could be still be within ~7 months. Assuming of course, you still believe anything the BoD says... Ho Hmmmm... | katylied
25/8/2017 09:25 | Don't get me wrong, I'm only amused by some punters who buy in first thing in the morning and then 30 minutes later sell at a loss because they aren't millionaires yet. But may be it does work with other stocks, so fair enough. | novicetrade68
25/8/2017 09:18 | For heaven sake, give it some time. There have been so many false dawns here, you can hardly blame people salvaging what they can. Some of it will be traders milking the volatility. Over the last few years, they have unquestionably been the 'smart ones'... | katylied
25/8/2017 09:13 | Oh, we're already red. LOL | novicetrade68
25/8/2017 09:12 | By the way, what a timing to release this news before the holiday weekend. In the meantime, the 30/45/60-minute bulls and even the 5-minute ones are bailing and no doubt we'll end up red today. | novicetrade68
25/8/2017 09:07 | What a load of tosh Well salaries need to be paid for another year This dog needs to just die. | dudleym1975
25/8/2017 09:04 | Maybe they could charge their short-list JV candidates an entry-fee? If they are telling the truth about the interest in the project. Hey, just saying... :o) | katylied
25/8/2017 08:54 | Yes, they need a bit of working capital, but I don't think it's going to be that much actually. Half of the last loan was spend on maintaining their listing on AIM, which usually expires mid-June. Salaries have been defered, so in my estimation they need $200k-$400k to see them through till the end of the year when hopefully (a) binding offer(s) has been received. That sort of money shouldn't be a big deal to source from somewhere. If holders are spooked by fearing the big D (dilution) and are now panick selling, then well, what can you say. Imo this has now the potential to double, triple etc from these levels. | novicetrade68
25/8/2017 08:52 | It is going to put PIs (buyers) off short term, because they can't know if it will be an equity issue or more debt. Historically, the company has favoured debt, but the chronic failure to repay on time may have made that road much more difficult. Unfortunate that these things have to be spelt out to the challenged... | katylied
25/8/2017 08:44 | I don't think anyone has forgotten about it, AFC etc are happy to extend loan for 12 months and are privy to more information than the private investor, I would envisage that the partner news early Q4 will include a lump sum to provide funding through to financial close. RNS outlined this. | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/8/2017 08:13 | LOL the bulls here arent so much stale, as mouldy and covered in mildew :) No one trusts these early morning spikes any more, and all we see is selling after the initial spike. I wonder if those selling are stale bulls, profit takers from the 2s and 3s, or those who misunderstood what this months RNS was going to contain? I was encouraged by the tone of this mornings RNS and time scales for once havent slipped again - still targetting end 2017 for the big decision. | nav_mike
25/8/2017 08:09 | Fantastic news. Game on again. | novicetrade68
25/8/2017 07:42 | Ncondezi Non-Executive Chairman, Michael Haworth, commented: "The Ncondezi Project is one of the most advanced development stage coal fired power projects in the region and remains an attractive opportunity to international developers and operators. Today's announcement highlights the progress achieved in identifying a new strategic partner to take on a leadership role in further developing the project. The Company has begun receiving the non-binding offers from potential partners, which we will now look to develop into binding offers through a competitive negotiation process in early Q4 2017. We are very pleased with the quality of the partners who have submitted offers to date, and believe the power project will be well positioned to finalise development, financing and initiate construction once a binding offer has been agreed. Finally, the Company has received in principle support from loan holders to extend the loan for a further 12 months and is now finalising documentation which is expected to be completed shortly. This support for an extension from loan holders reflects the progress that has been made since June 2017, and will provide more time to explore refinancing opportunities in parallel with further project de-risking." | cl0ckw0rk0range
25/8/2017 07:27 | Nice RNS. Bullish tone. 12 months extension proposed. Offers must be decent for that or it would have been much tighter. | keya5000
25/8/2017 07:24 | Wakey, Wakey, boys... The can has (apparently) been successfully kicked down the road yet again. Could see some share price action... | katylied
22/8/2017 16:21 | I think there are also a lot of 60-minute bulls often out there judging by the matching buys and sells, although today isn't actually so bad. | novicetrade68
22/8/2017 15:59 | More buying today I guess in expectation of the partner search update promised to us? However the amount of selling that subsequently appeared shows the staleness of bulls that are still around. | nav_mike
14/8/2017 19:23 | That's even more up to date info regarding transmission you posted there clockwork, thanks. If transmission can be run from Tete, may be they don't even need to build a 92km connection after all. But even if they have to build a transmission line to a different grid - recalling the DFS - it's all just part of the package constructing a power plant. In any case, they have the approvals for a connection to a grid if need be. | novicetrade68 |
