09/7/2021 09:31 | There is a link on one of the posts that takes you to the website of the contractor apparently. I'm just grasping at any straw of hope at the point in time. | garykc
09/7/2021 09:04 | Gary, What update? Just a few contributors getting their wires crossed. One contributor writes "certainly good to hear talk of coal and not just solar" The only relevant point that he omits is that all the talk is coming from bulletin board posters - the Co. is increasingly referencing the solar project with the main project getting the occasional generic mention of things progressing nicely but nothing specific or tangible........ | yasx
09/7/2021 08:58 | I think even Fletcher has realised there is little merit in the project - hence he has ceased loading up, despite the price reaching a new low. He will now have to consider the most effective way to recoup his losses - by way of options and loans at ridiculous rates. Of course, the carrot of the project will continue to be dangled. That ois a given, and those like Lurker will continue to wait for jam tomorrow.. | yasx
07/7/2021 17:44 | Check out the chat on LSE. Update on there about power line | garykc

02/7/2021 14:53 | Lurker, I will respond more fully when I have nothing better to do - for now I am scrutinising the screens for purposes of monitoring my investments. You ought to try it - unless you have failed as an investor and have insufficient funds so to do. However, I will for now briefly respond to your reference to AAZ. You appeared on that thread when the price was around 80p - you averred that holders ought to consider switching to a more prosperous investment in NCCL, then 7p. The latter currently sits at 2p, the former is at 140p having been as high as 180p. As scrutiny of my posts on AAZ will demonstrate, I have been espousing the virtues of that Co. for several years when the price was at 20p. Unlike NCCL, it has not in over ten years issued any equity. It has paid off all debts and over the past few years has initiated a progressive dividend policy. It has increased production and is throwing off cash. During the same period NCCL has issued equity with regularity, taken on more debt at extortionate rates, failed to keep to any deadline or promise, switched from one project to another to keep the bandwagon moving, now ran out of cash again and seeking to issue yet more equity to keep going and so on. I think you have been reading Cornford's guff on that rag. I forget what it is called. i am sure you will know what I mean!! Chuckle chuckle. Finally, as for the assertion that I do not understand what is involved in a tariff agreement for a major power station nor the hurdles associated with the same, I cheerfully suggest you advance that advice to Hanno. You see, it was Hannno that ought to have factored in such complexities when he set out his commitment that the tariff would be concluded by H1 20. Clearly he ought to have given himself more headroom had he grasped the 'obvious' hurdles to which you allude. Such inexperience! Tut tut. Chuckle Chuckle. | yasx
02/7/2021 08:35 | It's just too easy for the mm's!!!! | garykc
01/7/2021 19:03 | This board has turned from good analysis from both sides into a bun fight over the last two weeks or so. I know, if I don't like it, don't read it. Shame really. | garykc
01/7/2021 13:13 | Seems you're in the same kindergarten as your friend, Mr Beet ? | lurker5 |
