03/8/2021 11:24 | .."Why Scott Fletcher has had to miss out on these mega cheap shares..." Maybe, just maybe, there IS for once something going on...and, as a PDMR, he wouldn't be allowed to buy....? I'll take my rose-tinted spectacles off now. | extrader
02/8/2021 12:17 | Ohhhh, some buying pressure at last | garykc
21/7/2021 13:55 | I note that Cornford has put out another article on this Co. (he has been espousing the virtues of this Co. for several years at much, much higher prices). Anyway, his latest offering is more of the same and concludes as follows.... "NCCL’s shares offer a balance of a 4-5 fold potential profit over the coming year (albeit much later than anyone thought) in exchange for a small chance of total loss" What he fails to point out is that a four fold increase from here merely takes the price to levels at which he was suggesting it to be a stonking investment! Anyway, as indicated before, I am only in on the basis of the longer term chart, which still suggests to me there will be a significant spike at some point which will take the shares significant (but temporarily) higher, at which point I will offload. I am hoping for it to get to 6 or 7p in due course. This is not one that will yield anything over a sustained period of time. | yasx
21/7/2021 12:42 | Point accepted. Each trade is an individual trade, and thus, for instance, the concept of averaging down or up is neither here nor there - each trade concludes with either a gain or loss and not as part of a collective group of trades. | yasx
21/7/2021 07:57 | Never understood the free carry, money on paper is money, risk evolves from trade outset to completion but it is all money. If I made money trading cable a year ago I don't consider my next cable trade as a free one. But I wish you luck with your investment here and elsewhere. | soultrading
20/7/2021 22:58 | .."I see more but posting here would not be appropriate..." Not good enough. Don't be prissy . Tell us what you REALLY think ! | extrader
20/7/2021 18:13 | No pain here - I took a punt on the chart which has paid off once when it doubled a while back - am in again for a second time, but overall it is a free carry and then some although on this occasion I am slightly down, but, as pointed out, overall significantly in profit. I have long stated that Hanno is churning out promotional guff and explained why - that continues to be the case, becoming palpably more obvious with the passage of time. As for hoping the tariff lands and the project comes to fruition, well, hope is not an investment strategy. What evidence is there to indicate the tariff is likely to be agreed, and, even if it were, the evidence does not support the probability of a project going ahead, at least not to the benefit of NCCL holders. | yasx
20/7/2021 18:12 | Blue finish. | soultrading
20/7/2021 17:53 | Yasx, I hope you get out with something, I think we can all see and feel the pain in your messages. Hopefully, tariff will land and the price will move up towards your entry. | soultrading
20/7/2021 16:25 | Have you read the terms attached to the solar loans? How can that project ever sustain itself in a meaningful way? Have a read and, more importantly, have a good think thereafter. | yasx
20/7/2021 16:20 | In my mind it is a two for one. I think it will go ahead given the need for power and other options available. Solar for the future and coal now. | soultrading
20/7/2021 16:11 | Look, the reality is that the Co. are themselves steering away from the main project - all indicators point that way. The recent announcements suggest that the Co. is looking to steer itself in a different direction due to a change of perception in that market - I read that as tacit acceptance of failure of the project and gentle hints that expectations ought to change accordingly. Thus we are left with the solar junk- and that is exactly what the solar outfit is - a mechanism to channel funds from NCCL and direct them to a spurious outfit linked to his brother that has negligible chance of delivering anything meaningful. | yasx
20/7/2021 16:10 | I get the frustration, 'we' both expected things to be moving a lot faster than they have been. Let's hope they pull something out the bag for us all. | soultrading |
