04/1/2017 19:01 | Mwwh Lg wants nothing to do with Quantum dots they will fight until the bitter end for their OLED and IPS after spending millions and have been misleading by calling them QDs last year. They have also mislead DOW by signing a contract with them, and later we all heard the delay was because they wanted it on film.Nanoco could not help going CF and Cadium was better then but now it's the same or better.LG has been a thorn in the side for both Nanoco and DOW,I personally never buy their products and don't rate LG. | syd777
04/1/2017 17:57 | So slip now you are a fan of QMC. How much have you bought? When will learn that business dont do charity. Apply that to Dow, Merck and Wah Hong ... Share price up again | kuss1
04/1/2017 17:52 | Syd: I do not understand or appreciate your vindictive negativity toward LG, a potential Dow customer. We should be happy that LG is still open to quantum dot technology. Perhaps, Nanoco did not make a good enough case or did not have a good enough product earlier. It appears to me that Nanoco still is not displaying a commercial product at CES. Blame Nanoco but not LG. | mwwh
04/1/2017 17:46 | Good to hear some demonstrators were on show, mainly as a demonstration that some manufacturers are willing to endorse Nano to some extent. What we really need to see is products in John Lewis and money in the bank. The fat lady is still doing her vocal exercises. I think the market's reaction to today's RNS is telling. Even private investors are seemingly more cautious now than in the past. | onething
04/1/2017 17:33 | Absolutely! There must be a good many who agree with that. However, as he'll almost certainly not 'give it a rest', just filter him out. You'll not miss anything worth reading. | aimingupward2
04/1/2017 17:23 | ( Hate to say, but the only people ME has convinced, frequent this board in between therpay for various bi-polar-like disorders )!!! SSW, just read what you have posted. Make an appointment with you doctor. Please do so as soon as possibel. I am sure you need help. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY POSTS YOU HAVE POSTED TODAY ??? How much do you get per post ?? All full of carp. FFS, give it a rest. | callmebwana
04/1/2017 17:13 | Well LG is using its IPS panel with a Nono cell looks like a better version of their last losing tech to QDs was. They tried to downgrade QDs and are working with Technicolor.Cant wait for Samsung and TCL to come on and take the lead on a company that's losing money on phones and OLEDs.Their TVs have nothing to do with QDs. | syd777
04/1/2017 16:59 | Thx for the info, Scrutable. I've no way of listening live, but will post views/links as I find them unless someone beats me to it... | kenirogas
04/1/2017 16:36 | And iomdm may I remind you that these boards are discussion threads NOT investor orgies. If you want to talk to and meet fellow shareholders then may I suggest you attend AGM's. | slipperysidewinder
04/1/2017 16:33 | The LG News conference should have gone on the air in Las Vegas at 4.00pm. Has anyone had a means of partaking or just listening in? Hisense promises to do the same at 8.00pm tonight, and Samsung at 10pm. | scrutable
04/1/2017 16:27 | Lol..and so Nanos share price suggests the same then ?? | ih_169538
04/1/2017 16:27 | mroz Please do not be influenced by persons who wish only that the board be a temple to the worship of ME and Nanoco. We live in a democracy and this is a investment forum where money can be both won and lost on financial predictions on both success and failure of a given company. | slipperysidewinder
04/1/2017 16:22 | Firminator At least your the voice of sanity and reason in the midst of your irrationally exhuberent lemmings. | slipperysidewinder
04/1/2017 16:21 | It's you causing the fuss. | balaura
04/1/2017 16:21 | QMC share price doesn't suggest they're doing very well. | andycapped
04/1/2017 16:19 | Unlike Nano, QMC is unfocused, which means waste of time and losing the race. | balaura
04/1/2017 16:15 | Yes QMC hmmm kuss feeding the board mis information yet again. QMC are not only alive and kicking but looks like they are doing better than Nanoco. | slipperysidewinder
04/1/2017 16:14 | Yes QMC hmmm kuss feeding the board mis information yet again. QMC are not only alive and kicking but looks like they are doing better than Nanoco. | slipperysidewinder
04/1/2017 15:49 | Kuss..no comment on QMC..remember you said they were going broke and had nothing..man up ! | ih_169538
04/1/2017 15:31 | All the cadmium displays will have to move to cad free. You are nuts if you think the opposite. BenQ, Hisense, TCL, Philips etc, will all have to switch. Qdots will become mainstream. Revolutions do happen. Nano et al are the only companies that can supply in volume. This is a fact. The industry is just starting out. | kuss1
04/1/2017 15:20 | I think someone said on lse about BenQ being the stand next door to nanoco. | mrplay
04/1/2017 15:20 | chaba - you are close to being moderated. But I suspect english isn't your first language so please take a bit more care i.e. Don't reference disability as if it's a disease to mankind please , it will offend Also, if the posts are of relevant industrial topic , then it's welcome here (unless it becomes spam) cheers | mr.oz |
