The Hisance CES Press-Conference took place at 12noon Pacific Time=8pm GMT.

JoePublic has kindly drawn our attention to the written-out Hisence spec-sheet for their many new models for 2017.

From the conference, emphasis on their mission to bring the whole family group a superb shared viewing experience. Customer research has demonstrated that the Hisense TVs provide viewing experience which is statistically equivalent to Samsung.

Emphasis on their ULED Quantum Dot H10D 4K Smart TV which renders better local dimming and contrast, improved depth and brilliance, reduced motion-artifact and expanded colour gamut.

Also Hisense released a press release which was linked a few posts back. Mention the following: "Taking picture quality to the next level, the highly anticipated Hisense H10D 4K ULED® Smart TV features Quantum Dot Wide Color Gamut, Ultra HD Premium™ and UHD upscaling. The 70-inch and 75-inch flagship H10D is the largest ULED™ TV series in the U.S. and will be available for purchase in early 2017. "

One other thing MROZ

From a marketing point of view the big impact for both Wah Hong and Nanoco would have been to reveal the new TV's together with commercial agreements with Hisense and co simultaneously.

This has not happened. You have to ask yourself why.

Quite simply if Nanoco have enough cash to see them through then through then I cannot see in a month of Sundays any reason why ME would offload stock.

It would be crass stupidity.

You have to follow the money. It speaks a lot louder than a some qdot displays being lobbed into a few dated carcassas.

HiSence looks to be 1st contract signed with supply from Nanoco and DOW that's the news I anticipate ;)

TCL bringing X1,X2,X3 in 2017 with QDs based on film but it will bring out the Worlds first QD chip TV in the future and it boasts 44% growth in 2016.X3 will most likely come out last when WH can produce the 73" for them.

HiSence on at midnight,.Hisense (12pm PT / 3pm ET) Look out for TV-related announcements in HDR, 4K and the new hotness Quantum Dot. Look out for refrigerators and home appliances too, if you're very lucky. If you've got any sense you'll watch it live.
