08/7/2024 18:00 | The current share price is so ridiculous, of course there's an enhanced probability of an opportunistic bid, but I was alluding to something more banal, but still very profitable for anyone buying at these levels. One example: I think the Company can afford to pay a lot more than the current mooted per share payout. If the market wants to continue to supply shares at these levels for now, then I would look for a slow but steady rise in institutional buying and a subsequent rise in pressure on management to consider more radical actions to realise value. Again, I'm putting my stake in the ground: this Company's valuation is now so extreme, the likelihood of a pack of wolves arriving on its doorstep grows more likely every day. One thing for everyone here to keep very much front of mind: Any fund that builds a position at these silly levels/up to 20p, knows that - AT A MINIMUM - they will get over 50% of their investment back (I realise there's a risk that that may not come in cash - ie., a special dividend - but you can't be completely risk free here) in around 4 months. That will make it so much more likely that event-driven/activis | ![]() kemche

08/7/2024 07:12 | "Why do people who accuse others online of exhibiting the Dunning-Kruger effect not realize that by doing this, they are demonstrating it themselves? Narcissistic tendency. It's called projecting. It is meant to confuse, misdirect and deflect what the person (perpetrators) who is actually accusing is doing behind" _________ I'm not the one who thinks he could run the company better than the directors and who habitually posts conspiracy theories based on the conceit (unsupported by any evidence of any qualifications or genuine knowledge) that he "knows how things work in the real world". These conspitracies all stem from a preference for comfortable lies over the unpleasant truth that you got the Samsung settlement wrong, among most other things. _________ All I've ever claimed is that everything will be alright if Nanoco execute. If you don't like the chances of this happening in your investment timeframe then your sole sanction is to sell. | ![]() terrorwit

08/7/2024 06:35 | Kooba Now we know why the Cavendish forecasts showed that breakeven wouldn't be reached by next year versus BT and the Board saying breakeven would be reached! The reason they messed up with their comms telling Cavendish one story and retail investors another.. If you recall we both flagged this major discrepancy a while back now the RNS backs this up...Nanoco won't reach breakeven for at least another two years, 2026 at best! | ![]() paul planet earth1

07/7/2024 16:41 | I'm an experienced director with many direct experiences of commercial legal disputes and hundreds of bringing new concepts to market. I've had several identities because I leave the forums from time to time out of exasperation at the stupidity of other contributors. Speaking of which you are a loud-mouthed trader with Dunning Kruger syndrome who would benefit from consulting a psychologist to help you break your self-reinforcing negative behaviors. ------- There's no indications of problems with Gen 1 materials. The only news is that a small order that was originally guided for this FY has been delayed. Anyone who's bought a new concept to market would understand that delays occur in the overwhelming majority and that it's almost certainly not a concern in the medium term. Unfortunately, you're in too much of a rush and have unrealistic expectations so you can't see it. | ![]() terrorwit
07/7/2024 16:08 | You bought back because you had convinced yourself that you called the bottom and you're trying to trade for short term gains because you don't have the patience or money to be a genuine long term investor. Idiot. | ![]() terrorwit
07/7/2024 13:59 | And in terms of why did I not see the profit warning coming...well I asked lots of questions around the Gen 1 revenue build and got few answers and was called a loon and such like for daring to question the company but even I didn't see them calling a warning so early as their guidance was orders by CY end not FY end...it shows it is a serious change in expectation and the markets reaction demonstrates that, | ![]() kooba
07/7/2024 13:00 | Kooba. What is it you're trying to prove other than that you're a goggle-eyed loon? I mean would you like me to spend my days reading back through all your posts when you were right up Hamoodi's lower intestines or when you were spreading other falsehoods? Once more you've quoted a curated paragraph out of context and anyway, whatever I wrote about the price following the buy back is obviously out of date because of an unpredictable adverse trading update. What's your excuse for not foreseeing the update and buying back in when you did? How much has that cost you exactly? I mean, given how invincible you profess to be that has to be embarrassing, right? | ![]() terrorwit

07/7/2024 11:39 | “TerrorWit12 Apr '24 - 16:52 - 39264 of 39931 0 1 2 This is because the company has our agreement to buy back shares at prices up to 5% above the most recent independent purchase price. Consequently, the price will rise to at least 24p because no-one will want to sell at less (otherwise they would have taken the tender offer). In my view it's likely to go on an upward streak at least until the buy back is complete and possibly indefinitely” Now 40% lower than the 23p at the time just a few months later , we should all pay attention when Nige gives opinions and advice because…go up indefinitely you say..how lovely. What a tool. | ![]() kooba

06/7/2024 09:03 | Kooba Dejavue I'm afraid BT no doubt dropt a hint...seems like yet another episode of integrity issues around senior mgt behaviour otherwise why the sudden halt to the 'independent' buy back program a few weeks before that RNS release no other reason. | ![]() paul planet earth1 |
