02/7/2024 09:14 | I do question this line"Following customer dialogue, the Group no longer expects to receive a further production order for its validated first generation sensing products during FY24."They were never guiding to further production orders during fy24 they were guiding to further production orders for cy24.So unclear what this is saying.. | ![]() kooba
02/7/2024 09:11 | You think they realised they would miss current year forecast today do you when the year end was 30th June?? If you think this came a surprise today then the FD is totally incompetent. As to the STM i don't think they have a clue what is happening on Gen 1 but they didn't find out yesterday to suit a year end trading update...they knew. I also assume the reason for the suspension of the buyback for over 6 weeks was not unconnected. | ![]() kooba
02/7/2024 09:06 | Has it not occurred to you the news has come as a surprise to the company also hence the RNS? | ![]() nigelpm
02/7/2024 08:59 | Cash is £20m year end shares in issue ( before incentives issued) 193m so cash is 10p per share. | ![]() kooba
02/7/2024 08:57 | To think the company approved that very bullish Edison note only a week ago ..knowing this was coming!https://www.e | ![]() kooba
02/7/2024 08:54 | Didn't one of your previous incarnations say "Mr market is always right"? Or is he wrong now that the market appears to disagree with you? | ![]() chilom
02/7/2024 08:51 | I usually avoid averaging down but the price drop here makes little sense. This company has plenty of cash to see it through blips and it's still investing rather than making cut backs.I was sat at 20p and not worried so I've bought more today. | harkes15
02/7/2024 08:49 | There's no reason for the market to assume the worst. STM have not cancelled their programs and the respective products are still on sale. It's just taking time for STM's customers to implement them, which is nothing unusual. Good opportunity for cool heads to benefit. At this price I shall definitely buy again before October. | ![]() terrorwit
02/7/2024 08:37 | Following customer dialogue, the Group no longer expects to receive a further production order for its validated first generation sensing products during FY24. FY24 ends in 30 days time so could be anything from : Minor delay to full cancellation. Market assuming the worst. | ![]() nigelpm
02/7/2024 08:36 | All buy backs to date have worked out well? Persistent wealth destruction! | pdwop
02/7/2024 08:34 | TWit - “It's a buying opportunity since the stock is now below cash”. Well buy then - doesn’t look like too many people agree? | ![]() barkbooo
02/7/2024 08:32 | Apologise Colin W@nkst@ine can't make it today as he simultaneously wet and sh@t his bed on today's RNS release and needs to order a new mattress, bed, and get the decorators and pest killers in! | ![]() paul planet earth1
02/7/2024 08:31 | Honestly I don't think I've ever seen such an over-reaction to news. All that's happened is that STM have advised Nanoco they won't be placing a second order this financial year, which ends this month, so Nanoco have updated guidance. The sky hasn't fallen in. Cavendish have issued a revised note stating they expect FY revenue to fall from £8.45m to £7.9m. Hardly any difference. It's a buying opportunity since the stock is now below cash. | ![]() terrorwit
02/7/2024 08:30 | HiCould somebody clarify for me. Is my assumption correct that the cancelled order is not with STM. As the STM work is for 2nd generation sensors and the cancellation is for 1st generation. Is this correct? | lavbog
02/7/2024 08:29 | Terrible. I guess it’s up for sale, would be lucky to get 23p. What awasre of buying back @ 20p or so n No word on pursuing other licence infringements. | ![]() zingaro

02/7/2024 08:27 | Sad to say but Nano remind me of a company called Pursuit 15 years ago. World beating technology, but woefully mis-managed with jam tomorrow statements, to the point where their window of opportunity was lost and the company folded. I've been a holder of both, so sympathies to all current holders who have stayed in. | ![]() nobbet
02/7/2024 08:25 | Nigelpm - I agree this is a great company with some very clever people - unfortunately, they have a dodgy leader that is a prolific liar! | ![]() barkbooo

02/7/2024 08:22 | "We continue to work hard across a range of products, customers and market sectors to deliver the adoption of quantum dot technology. The number of potential applications continues to grow strongly." That isn't the sign of a failed business with £20m cash in the bank. I understand the market reaction but there's still a viable business here. | ![]() nigelpm
02/7/2024 08:17 | Buyback and cash at 10p a share. Be amazed if it goes below 10p. | ![]() nigelpm
