I think it was me's million dollar pad and his blue chip lifestyle that swayed "Apple"

Maybe the other two us based qd makers were not
prepared to accept the terms of the deal on offer.
Just a thought!

LG chose to pursue a different technology with WOLED. If they'd rejected Nanoco and taken up with Nanosys, that might have said something else.

Perhaps it's wise to balance up past disappointments with the fact that a major US corporation chose to partner and invest in Nanoco, as opposed to the other two US based QD makers.

Problem is nanoysy have done what nanoco have never been able to. They have products and nanoco have nothing. 2014 lg deal that disappeared. Nov 2017 me stating first commercial display q1 2018 then q2 then definitely q4 2018 now who knows.

For saying they used to say world leader. Other seem to have pasted them waving them goodbye.

Do something nanoco. Stop the bs

Jfacwc ME has sold over 6 million shares. I would say that alone would affect the share price Plus the fact that he is the CEO it does not help the investors confidence.

Hopefully the AGM does have something extra to offer.Up against massive Brexit votes, US trade wars, Chinese espionage, resultant market volatility, etc.Nothing seems ever easy for nano, though no doubts there are plenty here, and elsewhere, to blame them, or their business decisions, or ME, for any share price decline.

that's right …. held these several years now, and this is the strongest position they have been in. Still a risk, but in my opinion still worth holding

Each to their own. Prefer to view things a bit more positively, nothing much different happening to contradict this.

Not looked in here for a while . Just caught up on news and whilst signs of improvement with revenues up its still very slow progress . To me it looks like they will need another cash call next year as they are still some way off being breakeven . Still has potential but I always have concerns when a company is making big losses and is only getting small revenue increases . The result is always dillution at lower prices and I'm afraid that will almost certainly happen here . Why buy in now when I can get shares at half the price in 9 to 12 months time .

Bagpuss. For me, nano made it pretty clear about delays in 2019, and this hasnt (yet) unduly affected the share price Prefer to wait for the forthcoming AGM, followed by any decision of ME to sell yet more of his holding.2018 shows an improvement over 2017, and this only on future news, rather than anything concrete.

Are Nanosys (TM) still using Cadmium in their dots?

Do they sell these into Europe?

from the link there are positives and negatives for nanoco

"There is a lot of work being done on QD inks. Quantum dots have a long future ahead in the display space, and really, quantum dots have only just begun.”

"More than half of the premium TVs sold in the US over the last 12 months featured quantum dot technology from Nanosys,” said Russell Kempt, VP of sales and marketing for Nanosys.

it is disappointing they have no commercial display product
utilising their technology.
